They say that abortion is murder. But they also say they have an abortion before the fetus turns into a human and before it has feelings. Therefore the abortion is not murder for what the fetus is but for what it could become. A human could be created and people say it's immoral to stop it.

I disagree. Because isn't it also stopping a human from being created to choose not to have a child in the first place? And we do not consider that murder. So why is abortion murder?

Also as a bonus in many countrys the crime rate dropped 20 years after abortion was legalized. Why? Abortion means there are fewer unwanted babys that grow into criminals.

It's all a question of where to draw the line. At X number of months before birth, a fetus is definitely not human. At some point after birth, it is definitely human. Nobody will argue that killing a month-old baby is not murder (and it definitely is murder).

Problem is, there's no one definite point at which a collection of cells becomes human. Over those nine months, it grows and changes gradually. A fetus born two months premature can lead a completely normal life--but on the flip side, humans are all but incapable of surviving on their own for, at the very least, a few years (and a child all on his own at five years old is going to be pretty miserable afterwards).

If a woman chooses to have an abortion, she should be aborted, too.

*aborts John HSOG for intolerance*

Tt is be better to be aborted, then to be an unwanted child.

Um, not in my opinion. I think I'd rather be alive, even if my parents did not want me.

If your parents decided that they were disappointed with you and did not want to ever see you again, would you commit suicide?

No, I would run away. If i was treated like **** for my entire life by my parents, I would most likely not be a stable human that I am today.

I heard somewhere that the crime rate in Britain dropped in the 90s.

What was the reason you think? Better teaching or better police force?

Nope, it's because they legalized abortion in the 70s so don't just think about human feelings.

So why is abortion murder?

Murder would basically apply anytime you consider the victim to be human. (Killing a 1 yr old in our society would be considered murder, but in some historic societies children were nothing but property and could be killed until they reached 'adulthood'.) Pro-life believes humanity begins at conception. Pro-choice believes it begins at birth. I believe it begins at sentience. Obviously the first two are easier to define, but they are both wrong. ;)

I completely agree with A'AbarachAmadan. :)
(Do you have a shorter name btw? :p )

Then again, I too have no idea when sentience first appears in a embryo/foetus/baby. But probably not during the embryo stage.
