Your country...in video games.

Good grief, 275 pages under the US. Plenty of American Revolution, Civil War, World War 2, and random scifi.

And Political Games and similuations set in America like Theme Park, Theme Hospital and Paradox games which has America in.

In relation to the Isle of Man which I lived in till last Tuesday the games I can only think of where it was in is TT games and Crusader Kings II.

Mostly WW2 and racing.
I think the most offensive portrayal of Germany I've seen in a game i in Civilization 5. They're worse than the Aztecs in Civ 4 and preemptive genocide is the only option if you start on a continent with them. Yes, the real Bismarck was a backstabber. No, he' was not stupid.
Huh?

Wales (where I am now living in) has oddly no list on games set there, making Paradox the only one I can think of with it in. The nearest other example I can think of is a Welsh Space Invaders.

On the plus side Wales has games that use Welsh themes such as mythology. The Mabinogion seems popular.

The lack of Grand Theft Auto is very telling. Hell, we've found people's workplaces in San Francisco Rush, and that's not there.

I'd be annoyed except I found Sunset Riders on the list and it brought back memories.

Who did Bismarck backstab?

Delta Force: Land Warrior
Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising
Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Essentials
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
V-Rally
V-Rally 2

I don't play most of the games above but it's a nice surprise to know it's not too unknown.

If the UK page can't even be bothered to have a single Tomb Raider game on it, then I don't have much faith in how exhaustive these lists are...

Races. Lots of F1 races, also some rallies and street racing and... Assassin's Creed 1 and 2.

I don't see the GTA series listed for the United States, which is pecuilar given how spot-on its depiciton of Eagleland is. Liberty City is a bit less violent than real America, but you can only throw in so much before they slap on an AO rating.

no entry on A2 Racer? Amsterdoom? bummer.
