Biden is still way ahead. Warren and Bootyjudge seem to have plateaued in favor of Sanders who seems to be gaining very slowly.

Nearly everyone has flatlined. Bloomberg got a blip recently, Sanders is egging on, Biden's ups and downs are being equalized.... Biden at around 30%, Bernie right behind at 20.

These campaigns need to add some spice, mix up a few words, take a gamble. Did something in particular happen? Buttigeg frizzled out because he was what - to 'mainline liberal'? Dunno what happened to Waren.

Just for the record it is not really possible to poll a caucus, so Iowa "polls" should be taken with a large grain of salt.

It is nice to see the series of pieces that have come out in the last few days with the basic theme: Bernie could really win this thing.

"Likability" is very ephemeral, and often revealing. Actual favourability ratings can be useful, in which case amongst Democrats Warren is slightly behind Sanders, around even with Biden, and well ahead of Buttigieg. As far as I can tell, the only candidate with negative favourability is Gabbard.

I think Warren has been getting some bad advice from the Obama strategists she apparently has taken in recently. If people actually wanted four more years of Obama Biden would be further ahead.

While there was an implication that this was a "cunning retort," what we really need is less bald faced lying about what other people mean by their posts in a vain attempt to create the impression that someone else shares your incredibly repugnant views.

Monmouth asked another interesting question:

Who would be your second choice if you had to make one?

Nobody else even got 5% on this question. It's interesting to think about how this 'second choice' question was interpreted by the people being polled. As VP material? As who they like personally, removing the question of who's "electable" (which I tend to think is another way of saying who you think other people will vote for)? And would the answer to this question change if we actually used ranked-choice voting?
