2nd Run NFL Mock Draft Thread

With the 12th pick in the draft the Cleveland Browns select:

Manny Lawson - Outside Linebacker - North Carolina State University

With the 13th pick in the draft the Baltimore Ravens select:

Marcus McNeill - Offensive Tackle - Auburn University

With Orlando Brown retiring leaves a hole on that side of the line, McNeill is by far the best Right Tackle prospect in the draft and should be able to start right away.

ackattack, you took McNeill...back to the drawing board.

I dont know what the main needs are now since TO has joined. We have a good 1/2 recieving group, but Glenn & Owens are over 30. We signed Fabini & Kosier too....

With the 14th pick in the first round the Philadelphia Eagles select WR Santonio Holmes, the University of Ohio State.

Sort of a no brainer with the way the Iggles receivers play.

It's THE Ohio State University!!!

You never listen to your woman when it comes to sports! I'm still mad at my girl for saying that she was rooting for Texas to get under my skin after I got back after the tOSU-UT game in september.

Sorry for the delay, everyone. I had an unexpected errand to attend to.

Back to the draft:

With the 15th pick in the first round of the 2006 CFC Fantasy Draft Run 2, the Atlanta Falcons select:

Tye Hill - CB - Clemson University

Not a problem Malba, I know I've had a crazy weekend, which included watching 24 kindergarteners!

With the 16th pick the Dolphins select:

Broderick Bunkley - DT - FSU

Reason: BPA

With the 17th pick the Vikings select:

LenDale White - RB - USC

booo, DeAngelo Williams FTW!!

Besides, White is a little heavy...and they already have Moe Williams for that.

woodelf, since the Lions have a ton of QB's on thier roster, how about a trade of Joey Harrington. As the Bills GM, I'll offer a 7th rounder for him.

I better take it before they cut him! :D

They should have tried for McCown. I can't see Harrington going from struggling in a Dome to being decent in Buffalo though.

Ok guys, sorry I havnt made my pick yet. I was really sick yesterday, nausea kind, so I could barely even move most of the day :p

Ill post it very soon.

Round 1, Pick 18

Cowboys160x120.jpg

Winston Justice-Offensive Tackle-University of Southern California

Reasoning? Well, we just signed Rocky Boiman & Akin Ayodele, so I didnt feel the need to draft a linebacker in the first round. Justice fell right into our lap, and I am kinda tired of seeing 5th...7nth round picks starting for our offensive line.
With TO signed, our reciever corp is about 4 deep, so once again, no real need to go first round with reciever. Torrin Tucker is blah, and Pettiti is still somewhat unproven. I dont have enough confidence in Fabini and Kosier just to give them the job. As for safety, none of them were worth the 18th pick in my opinion.

Round 1, Pick 19

Chargers160x120.jpg

Donte Whitner-Safety-A university located somewhere in the state of Ohio

Reasoning....umm, Chad Jackson isnt a deep threat and Sinorice Moss is a Roscoe Parrish clone. Linebacker is deep enough to pick up someone in the second round. I like Donte Whitner's style, SO HE BE THE PICK.
