Though the map does show Protestants as majority in some aprts of the provinces. I do not doubt that Eastern Ontario is far more Catholic than the rest (witht eh extensive French population), and Toronto does have more Catholics than Protestants, but it is still less than 1/3 of the population, the neighbouring municipalities are fairly similar (1/4 to 1/3 Catholic), except Vaughan, with its majority Catholics, as an Italian centre.
Though I still think the Catholic area in Ontario is much too large. I know that K-W, London, Bruce/Grey counties, most of Southwestern Ontario (generally west of Toronto and South of Georgian Bay) are more protestant, and cities like Barrie north of Toronto, but Idon't know much about the surrounding area.
To be honest, that map gives a very wrong impression in any case, as there is no distinction between places like Quebec, with an ovewhelming majority Catholic, and Toronto, with a slim plurality an only about 1/3.
