We certainly don't want Indiana, God forbid. We don't want Maryland either, and we don't want Northern Virginia. We don't want West Virginia and we don't want Utah. We also get Cuba. We don't want Missouri or Nebraska, but we want Colorado if only for Denver.

We don't want Utah either.
Utah is Utah, Maryland doesn't really fit in with the south, and The New South having Southern California (L.A and San Diego) Really?

There is a more natural dividing line the next row down. Your's is too jagged... really has nothing to do with the states themselves.

Kentucky is not considered south. In fact they tend to have kept mostly the same, while the North and the South changed over the years, around them.

@ zeletdude

Southern California is as much "Central America" as Miami is.

The South Should stop at Texas, and not include Arizona or New Mexico, or Nebraska, Utah, Etc.

Maryland was historically southern and has only converted because of the influx of northerners coming to the DC metro area. However, if the South had Maryland, then DC would be surrounded. So I'd accept Maryland for the strategic value. Utah could be it's own state. New Mexico was part of the original CSA, and Southern California would fit. South Florida, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona have large enough Hispanic populations that SoCal would demographically fit right in. The South would really be North Mexico as much as it would be South United States.

No Southern California really shouldn't, it just doesn't fit in The South at all.

Wait a minute: there's a New Mexico?

I made a map with the borders of my current game of CivIV (RaF-DoC). I made changes to make it more realistic.

Notice the Viking Empire in middle-east, the Great Japan, and the very big Mongolian Empire. Now there are two greats wars. I (Spain) am in war against the HRE and Usa and France are in war against England

PS: I'm Spanish, so it means that my english could not be corret and that i'm interested in the "Spanish Domination Series"

I wish the Dutch would do better in RFC :( Nice Spanish empire though.
Oh yeah, and welcome :D

How did the HRE get that city in Arabia?

Welcome to CFC, BTW.

More importantly, what are the Vikings doing in Persia?

Welcome to CFC! :band:

thx! :) The HRE probably had some troops in Arabia when the Caliphate collapsed. The vikings... it's inexplicable xDDD, the vikings' got a city in Quebec too.

Also, I love the CivIV Ice Age Scenario.

This thread is pretty quiet, so I decided to continue the Spanish domination! I feel sorry if I don't know some English names.

Now, 100% of Mediterranean coast is Spanish. Iberia conquers Marseille, and France lost its Mediterranean Sea acces. The fall of France is near, so the Netherlands still invading them. Iberia takes some of south Bulgaria (Is it Bulgaria?). Meanwhile, North Germany annexes some land of other German countries, declare war on Poland, and takes Danzig. Russia conquers some land of Poland, Romania and Austro-Hungarian Empire.
