Yes the point was that the list you gave didn't appear to be a list of "groups likely to post letter bombs from Ireland", given that you proceeded to then use this criterion to rule them out.

There is only one group likely to post letter bombs from Ireland to the UK. I commented on some other possibilities noted in the linked reports.
If you wish to add to the list feel free.

You know those cute girlish personifications cgp grey uses, for, say, US states?

I am now imagining girlish NM going: "Nope! Not having any of that nonsense."
With crossed arms and a huff and all.

TIL the that there are cute girlish personifications used by CGP grey :)

The Northern Ireland Secretary is doing her best to stir up trouble. How long will she last and is there anyone left to replace her.

From the BBC

Karen Bradley said on Wednesday that deaths caused by the security forces in Northern Ireland were "not crimes".

On Thursday, Mrs Bradley said that she was "profoundly sorry for the offence and hurt that my words have caused".

PSNI chief constable, George Hamilton, said if a soldier or police officer shot someone they should be investigated.

It's totally unbelievable. What is going on in Westminster?

The geniuses included generic return addresses. I guess they aren't trying to hide much.

In other news Fine Gael (broadly conservative and in power at the moment, aligned to the EPP in European parliament) have added the former MP and SDLP leader Mark Durkan to their ticket in the Dublin constituency for the next European elections. They are pretty explicit that this is to represent northerners in Europe. The SDLP wouldn't be considered conservative so it is a bit of a funny match but I imagine he will have a good chance and will pick up votes all that FG wouldn't normally expect.
Ireland is gaining two seats from the reallocation of the UK seats - Northern Ireland currently has three.

The Tories really lost their heads

So much against their two century tradition to keep calm and cede just enough to stay on top of whatever happens
whether preventing revolutions or just in time dealing with them

Now the current Tory bunch is themselves part of that revolution... ready to be devoured by the deeper layer of common sense
how untraditional

I dont think that anything changed. Such statements (albeit not on ireland or loyalists) were always made by tories.

She has called her much worse. D. A. clearly has some health issue, still it is rather dickish to go on mocking her. Imo it would be better -if she didnt stay in the front benches but she is hardly the issue with british politics.
And lets not forget that amber rudd barely managed to be re-elected, while D got more votes than ever.

She was accidentally offensive, I think. Easily the least of the recent sins by government ministers.

Brexit is looking worse and worse. We've heard about possible food and drug shortages, but now Der Spiegel reports that a No Deal Brexit could cause the UK to run out of toilet paper.

The end of the tabloids is nigh

I've more or less lost hope for an actual Brexit. No deal in view, not enough time to make one (especially with the clowns governing the UK) and nobody actually ready to bite the "no deal" bullet. I fully expect a "well, we'll give you more time to... actually start doing something since you've done f- all since the beginning" from the EU, and the UK government chickening out from taking their responsibilities and saying "well, a no-deal exist would be just too important to not have a popular mandate !" and throwing a referendum where the Brexit is canceled.

There might be a pleasant surprise, but I don't expect it.

Lack of toilet paper will cause the tabloids to boom as people discover an alternate use for them :mischief:
What do you mean, "alternate" ? :mischief:

The end of the tabloids is nigh

I will have to start stock piling my old copies of the Guardian. Maybe I will be able to sell them.

I have enough toilet roll to last till the Autumn, Lidl had a special offer last summer.
