It's more the fact that they decided to name the article after her game and put her game at the top of the list.

But the thing is that I actually agree with you to an extent. People are targeting her for her beliefs, the evidence isn't half as damning as I first thought and I honestly think I got caught up in the moment. Although I don't think this would have blown up half as badly as it did if people hadn't tried to censor it, but that's neither here nor there.

This sort of admission and self-reflection is rare on CFC.

Quite true.

Traitorfishwisdom

"Puppet state" gives the British state altogether too much credit. It proposes that it have no choice but to follow American foreign policy, allowing us to think of it as a long-suffering servant. In reality, Britain toadies on America because it wants to, because like one of those gross intestinal worms that lives up the butt of a very fat man with poor hygiene, it's just happier that way, wallowing in its lack of independence or dignity. Britain could strike out, follow its own path, but these intestinal passages are so warm and safe, why risk it?

Fair enough, but Christians are forever finding things that happen to come in threes and saying it symbolises the Trinity.

"See that plant? It's got three leaves so it represents the Trinity." "Uh-huh." "See that that mountain? It has three peaks, so it represents the Trinity" "Right." "See those mice? There are three of them, so it represents the Trinity." "But there are four mi-" *crunch* "It represents the Trinity."

It's a fixation.

Of course four nicely represents the Trinity, anyway. Three for the individual bits and one (the three in one) representing them all together.

No need to kill mice. That's just cruel!

Catholics are fairly primitive when it comes to numerology, I think.

To continue with the TK quotes, I present you those two gems:

Poor people aren't really English, either, they're the remnants of the original Celtic population. You can tell because of the shape of their heads.

Illiterate fascistoids screaming racial abuse at their doors would certainly remind that they live in England, no arguing with that.

Since I just discovered this thread and the timing is good I have to add this Bhsup masterpiece:

DaveShack:
The worst part about high humidity for me is feeling like I just got out of a shower all the time.

Bhsup:
It doesn't even feel like getting out of a shower, though. At least that is a clean feeling for a bit, even if you took a hot shower. Walking outside into oppressive humidity is more like walking into aerosolized dog slobber or something.

I found this pretty funny on the clique thread:

I don't look at it as a clique when I am in a dogpile. I just assume I am a cult leader and my minions are following my lead. I am willing to have this notion tested in a way that fits within the neutrality cubbyhole posted above.

What if you don't get there first?

It demonstrates that some of my followers are devoted enough to correctly anticipate what I want them to do.
<Mr_Kan> One day my hair will go grey, and my beard will grow. I will become a lollipop man and be able, with honesty, to smash it down and cry "you shall not pass!"
I realize it wasn't in CFC, but Kan is a member of CFC so I hope that's legit. I just thought it was a great thing he said.

Ah. Kandalf the Grey, I take it? :)
