That often happens when Dachs can be arsed to write about something he's well-informed about.

I have a dungeon, but no dragon. While quite a bit of imaginative roleplay goes on in the dungeon, a full set of dice is helpful to decide the shade of gray.

The zings are coming in fast and furious since JR got back.

Man we could have a whole thread of this just for him.

"That isn't an answer to my question. In fact, it's the least helpful thing I've got in lieu of an answer in quite some time."

Some dude called "The Last Conformist" in a thread from 2005. Don't ask, let's just say I've discovered the OT wiki.

He still is, wherever he is.

Oh yes? Where's this OT wiki? I know of cfcot.a.wiki and civfanatics wiki. I'm pretty sure you didn't find it in either of those. Though perhaps you did. Maybe I should look again.

A map where the Huns control Denmark and South Sweden is to be classified as awesome, not worse. Hunnish Vikings. Imagine....

With fleets to sail up rivers and hordes to rule the steppes, the Hunnish Vikings seemed unstoppable. They were finally defeated after dying of alcohol poisoning from their mead-kumiss mix.

Horse archers shooting double-headed battleaxes instead of arrows? I'm in.

Thank god bears weren't domesticated centuries later by the Russians. If the Hunnic Vikings had bear cavalry who knows what would have happened.

From a dicussion in the Random Rants thread that somehow involved maps of Europe circa mid-400's.

No, I am using the standard paging and the post I quoted is the second post on the page after the page the post existed that he claimed he was quoting. If is was actually my relativity, he would be quoting a post that has not been posted yet.
