CQUI - A UI Overhaul (Now out on Steam Workshop!)

CQUI - A UI Overhaul (Now out on Steam Workshop!)

I'm getting some problems with the great people screen. The "GP Already Recruited" tab is always shown as highlighted and it takes many fast repeated right and left clicks to get it to open. Everything else works great.

I had this too! I accidentally figured it out though - just press it a few times ha. I found a double click worked. Happened completely by accident as my mouse is breaking.

My only gripe now is, no report screen link, and no shortcut button to bring it up. Anyone aware of a way around this ? It's not the end of the world, but is nice to have

that's great news, where can i download it without subscribing to steam ?

My bad, I read too quickly and missed the link !

Having downloaded "the nightly" linked version from GitHub, I had the same problems as jesperben had. I will try again from Steam.

Edit:
OOPS! No longer available on Steam.
Edit2: Perhaps I dissed my search for it. Will try downloading again.

Anyone else having trouble with the current unit selection jumping around? Maybe it's me, but just as a turn seems done processing and pauses, making me think I can select a unit, it jumps to another unit! Very frustrating.

Can't tell you how many times that's resulted in a unit being moved incorrectly.

Subscribed via Steam, which put it into the \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\289070; which makes it a mod though I understood its supposed to be DLC. Tried to start a game, but no CQUI.
I presume I am supposed to MOVE (or is it COPY??) the 289070 folder CONTENTS to the DLC folder. I have acted on my presumptions and renamed the moved folder to "CQUI community," leaving the empty 289070 folder in the ...content folder. Cleared the cache.

That didn't work either. Any critique would be welcome, or in other words: HELP!

Nope, you subscribed via Steam so just leave it well alone.

Have you selected it to be on from the Additional Content menu?

Yes, I have selected it to be on from the Additional Content menu.
I tried leaving it alone where steam put it, but as I stated it didn't function when I started, so that was why I tried moving it to the DLC folder.

Strange that it's not working but moving it won't help.

All,

Is there something in this mod (or another mod that would work with this) where you can click on something and see what resources everyone has (and gold) so you don't have to click on every leader to check what they need (and can afford)?

I remember having some mod in Civ 5 (or maybe it was included in vanilla Civ 5).

Thx

Hi this mod (5 Oct) is not compatible with
8 Ages of War (17 Sep)
Dynamic Diplomacy (4 Sep, 28 Jul, 28 Jul)
Wondrous Wonders (30 Jul)
when all 4 mods were run together (no other mods were used). After pressing the button "Start Game", I was returned back to the main menu. But if I run any of the 3 (of listed 4 mods) together, I can create game as normal. (E.g. there is no problem running this mod together with "8 Ages of War" and "Dynamic Diplomacy" or running this mod together with "Dynamic Diplomacy" and "Wondrous Wonders".)

Could you fix this?

I get all 4 mods from Steam by subscribing to them. The dates in brackets are the last modified date of the mods.

It might be relevant to point out that "Dynamic Diplomacy (4 Sep, 28 Jul, 28 Jul)" is actually 3 mods: "Dynamic Diplomacy (Updated) (4 Sep)", "Dynamic Diplomacy (Australia DLC) (28 Jul)" and "Dynamic Diplomacy (Poland DLC) (28 Jul)", but written as though it is one mod to prevent wordiness. I also tested running all 4 mods but this time really without Dynamic Diplomacy (Australia DLC) (28 Jul)" and "Dynamic Diplomacy (Poland DLC) (28 Jul)", but it still doesn't create game.

First off; This version of CQUI is discontinued and is not the same as "Community Quick User Interface - CQUI"
Second; Do the mods have identical files? (look for the number folder for the mods in Workshop folder) If so, it would be a conflict. Sort it out with merge the files, or stop using the mods that breaks your play-style.

Just a big thank you for all the dedication to updating this superb mod every time a new patch is released. I shall wait patiently until it is once again compatible with the game.

Yeah, I'm afraid patched game will be barely playable until you release compability update. What an useful mod that reduces number of clicks significantly.
