Has anyone had the issue of accidentally buying tiles? I have been using this mod for a while, but yesterday I had to reload half a dozen times because I accidentally clicked a tile purchase when I was trying to slide the screen around in the city editor.

I would really like some kind of "are you sure" popup if the cost of the tile is above some threshold like 10% of your gold or something.

More often I find myself changing which tiles citizens are working on accident. Could totally see buying tiles accidentally too though.
 
About perfomance issues.
I notice temporary freeze every time I change government/polices. The freeze/delay is about few seconds and after this banners/numbers on top panel are updated (I can investigate it more, if this will be helpful for debugging). The freeze is longer in later eras. Is it known CQUI issue?

I'm using Quo Combined Tweaks v3.09.6, CQUI latest nightly & Smoother Difficulty.

Also there is sometimes long freeze and/or CTD when using trade screen.
Which Better Trade Screen version is included to CQUI? Is it latest beta: https://github.com/astog/BTS/releases/tag/v3.1-beta
Can I update it manually to latest beta, just by overriding original files here: Mods\cqui-master\Integrations\BTS?

Where did the "reports" button on the top panel go? Can't seem to find unit panel etc. in the latest versions.

A new reports button was added at the end of the buttons on the top left. After Great People or Great Works.

I have the same problem (and because I am playing on a crappy laptop I have to wait for 30+ seconds every single time I am changing cards/government) but since I am playing with more mods I am not sure which one causes this problem. If it's CQUI then we can only hope that it will be fixed. ;)
 
This seems to be core game perfomance issue. I tried without mods and there is a lag when changing government/polices.

What about lags when moving the mouse over the map with a unit selected (thereby showing movement paths) - anyone seeing this? I think it may be worse with religious units than other units but I'm not sure.

There are certain aspects of this mod that I find truly awesome, but I have been unsuccessful in getting it to work properly. I know this mod incorporates some standalone mods, as well as having its own unique code. I was wondering if the following features were standalone mods so I can download them separately until I can get this working:

Civ-V cityview
2x Minimap on click
2x XP bar

I tried doing a forum search but it caused me more aggravation than it's worth :cry:
 
I don't think I have ever bought a unit by mistake, but I can see how it could happen. Trying to slide the map is something I do almost subconsciously so I never think to watch where I place my mouse when doing so and that part of the screen is filled with things you could click by mistake. Moving a worker I do often, but it's easy to remedy. Having to reload and repeat my entire turn is however a major hassle that I have had to do to often lately. An undo button would be fantastic, but I can see where 'cheating' could be done using it (even though anyone can reload).

If there was a buy tiles button/toggle might be better than a confirmation or maybe make buy a double click instead of a single click.
 
Hi, thaks very much for your work! This mod is really a gamechanger!
I just have one issues, when i set up a game (lets say standard map pangea with 8 civs+12 citystates) it seems to then randomly select the number of civs and the map type. It has happened in every game (4) that i tried to start since i installed the mod. Any idea of what may cause this?
I couldnt find a similar threat anywhere, but its possible i overlooked it so in that case i apologize in advance :D

I accidental buys tiles all the time, when I'm panning around in the "City management view"
Silly people like me, would love to have the possibility to make a choice in options-menu, between single-, double-click or pop-up confirmation for buying tiles, units (money and faith)

That's (iirc) all just in the filters part of the CQUI options. Press the button on the minimap, and I believe it's the last tab, has all sorts of checkboxes for what it's filtering out of those announcements. Uncheck what you want to see.
 
HI there.

Just to let you know, I'm getting a crash to desktop when I use the "rescale minimap" slider on any map that's a different shape than the standard 1x2 rectangle most vanilla mapscripts use.

This includes the Inland Sea script, YNAMP's Play Europe map, and my own British Isles map, all of which are different shaped rectangles to some extent.

I'm guessing it's because the SetSizeVal command in CQUI_UpdateMinimapSize is trying to set the window's height to half it's width, but the map's not actually that shape.

How do I change the transparency levels of fortified/sleeping/skipped/no moves/ unit icons? I can't find anything in the CQUI menu and was hoping to just edit one of the mod files.

My problem is that I completely lose overview of my units cause I struggle to see the icons, especially yellow (Saladin) icons.
 
Just tried out CQUI. This is a great mod. Most of the features are working very well. Found a few issues (scanning through the forums, I didn't see these reported, so I'll post them here):
1. Purchasing Units/Buildings with gold. If a city does not have anything in its production queue, it works fine. But if a city has items (buildings or units) in the production queue, purchasing doesn't always work. Sometimes it does. But sometimes it gives the 'sound' of the purchase without any monetary deduction or the building/unit showing up.
2. Others posted this, so I can only confirm: Civic Tree does not show up
3. Repairing City Walls - the project to repair walls at the bottom of the screen does not always show up. It did early in the game (and seemed to work okay), but late game play the ability to repair walls would never show up.
4. I can also confirm accidently buying tiles and accidently turning on production hexes when not intending to (just from trying to scroll the map). Wish there was a way to toggle those production hex icons on/off to avoid accidents.
So I appreciate this mod and hope the feedback is helpful.
 
I feel like an idiot, but I downloaded this to play around with it and was playing the Australian Outback Scenario and for the life of me, I can't not figure out HOW TO BUILD ANYTHING. At first I thought maybe the scenario didn't have a build queue but that seems silly.

Where is the production queue? Or am I experiencing some weird glitch? I click choose production and it just brings up the summary of my city like growth etc on the left side of the screen. Looked everywhere don't see how to choose production.
