Unfortunately my working speed isn't likely to pick up again for the next few weeks so 1-2 months might be overly optimistic.

How do I earn the "self-preservation" promotion?
Moreover, I see that there an unspawn "Harappan" civ. Why is that?

Because we basically know way too little about them to put them in the game, so they're only in the Civilopedia as a sort of ghost-civ.

Is that the Indian independents? I think there is some militia unit which is unique to them. A warrior with +50% city defense. It might exist just to make sure that the cities arent razed before the indian spawn.

No, at one point I considered adding the Indus Valley Civilization / Harappans so I put in their civilization while doing all the others which actually ended up in the game (Tibet, Congo, Poland, Moors). But then I decided against that in the end.

It's a leftover from the vanilla RFC.
IIRC, it was connected to the mercenaries. So these could be removed completely.

I've never really looked into modding or editing mods. How much work would it take to make the Celts totally playable in this version of RFC? (Meaning not at war with everyone and be able to trade with other civs). And let's assume I can get that... How would one go about in introducing UHV?

RFC CIvilizations in abadunce features the Celts.

And all the horrible features that come packed with vanilla RFC.

We should make an RFC updator, in which you can choose what to add and what not, like Linux.

Try pressing either Alt-I or Ctrl-I. I usually do this for screenshots where I don't want to see the interface. Same thing works in reverse.

Didn't help. :( I'm going to re-download the SVN.

Same thing happens to me occasionally. I'll load up the game, but for some inexplicable reason it decides not to load up the HUD elements. It always fixed itself for me though. All I had to do has reload.

edit: Just happened:

It's not game-breaking, but it's pretty annoying, because I then must exit the game, reopen the game, navigate the scenarios, and launch the mod. Numerous reinstalls of the game have done nothing to remedy the problem.
