You believe in the same God, you just don't apparently believe in His source of Salvation. So you're an Abrahamist, but not a Christian.

I think it's supposed to be a temper restraining exercise.
I think the real question and issue we've all been afraid to acknowledge is this:
Do you believe in radioactive monkeys?
I believe the Poloponyum is actually transubstantiated to bread before the monkeys swallow it.So, strijder, you think it's okay to make monkeys swallow poloponyum? I may not support monkeys mooching from society, but they're just trying to live a gamma-ray-free life, how can you be against that?
I'm not too shocked. I thought you mentioned it once.
I wouldn't consider your view on the OT, and particularly the historicity of it, as quite as important as accepting the NT. Jews and Muslims accept the OT, to varying degrees, but aren't Christian. Do you believe Christ died and rose again to save us from our sins? Do you believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? If yes, I would consider you a Christian, at least according to an emprical definition (The Evangelical theological position is that a Christian is someone who is saved, the answer to which is USUALLY "We don't know if (Person X) is Christian or not")
Why is it funny if you don't tell them?
There was a higher power to create the starting mechanisms of the universe,, that much must be true--else, where are the origins of the beginning?
I need to ask, why is the option "agnostic" in the poll as an answer to "do you believe in God?"
Do you believe in God?People felt left out. It was a compromise between the short list and one with a thousand options.
Either that or the default option whenever the Abrahamic God is in the list.
