OK, now who left out the horns ?
I share your suspicion that Biden's withdrawal timeline contained a clever trap.History may record that the timing of the Biden withdrawal, waiting till Trump had designated his VP, was a masterpiece.
OK. I imagine I'll hear more about him; I just didn't think a guy who looks like Bernie Sanders sends jitters down anyone's spine but we'll see...As I said before I thought Josh Shapiro would've been safer but I guess Harris feels she already has this one locked up.He's a Midwestern progressive that knows how to speak to people. It's a great pick.

Who, who who whoWho left the horns out?
A Josh Shapiro pick [as I predicted but was wrong] would not have been a compromise so much as a broadening of the base and get people interested. I suppose a "compromise" would have been Harris picking some registered Republican. For we now have both candidates whose VPs do absolutely nothing for them other than encourage the people who are going to vote for them anyway.Walz seems much more of a progressive. I thought Shapiro was going to be the pick for sure so this is a bit of a surprise to me. Picking Tim Walz seems like the closest feasible to picking Bernie Sanders without just picking Bernie Sanders. The enthusiasm for Walz is really encouraging. I was a little worried that Shapiro was going to be seen as too much of a safe pick/compromise.
I’d like to reiterate the geographic strategy of VP picks has not been statistically proven, and I imagine even less so in neighboring states.Hopefully Walz will bring WI and MI along with MN.
I think Pelosi orchestrated the whole thing tbh, mad respect for her right now
