There's a little preview below of one of a number of units currently under construction ... should have a Dark-Age warrior and a Knight ready in a few days (10% done right now)
Does anyone know how to rename several hundred files quickly? To feed the bitmap frames through Stephs SBB program I have to spend hours renaming the frames because none of my programs will spit out files in number sequences begining with "UnitName0000"
... just try to imagine renaming 900 frames by hand ... for ... just ... one ... unit ...
btw ... the Dacians in the 1st or 2nd century AD were using huge 5 foot, two-handed swords against the Romans

I think ACDSEE does the automated batch file rename for multiple picture file formats

The reason most civ units are male(Almost all in fact) is because historically, and even today....99% of soldiers are male. Its nearly universal with all cultures.

Here's a progress report ... got a Female Knight 30% complete and downloaded a bulk rename ulitily - thanks for the advice it saves 6 hours time per unit! yay

This is a very cool program that allows batch conversion and renaming of pictures.

I'm personnally using SBB, PaintShopPro, Flicster, PEdit and IrfanView to produce converted unit.

You just made my day!

I was doing some "research" with FF IX (since I'm going to add those civ's and some of the wonders, etc. next), and I happened to see the Alexandrian guard, who are female knights who defend the Kingdom of Alexandria in FF IX. I was thinking to myself, "now if only someone would come up with a Greek-looking female warrior so I could use them for the UU of the Alexandria Civ." Then I log on here, and lo and behold, you make a unit that fits the bill quite nicely.

Keep up the good work, man.

And I agree with what was said earlier about needing more non-porn female units.

I know you wrote that you are not doing request right now, but I have simple and easy request for ya....
could you modify this female warrior to be a pike warrior? the reason is the Amazons do not have a pike unit! I think that would be an excellent unit to convert over to it! What da ya Say Muffins?

Supa yeah BlueO's unit is a spearmaiden unit but i just saw Muffins new post of 5 femal Warriors and there is female spearman in there and I'll propably use that unit for the Pike unit...
But to the Amazon unit that i was intending on doing I have been a little distracted from recovering from major open heart surgery and I intend to start back on the Amazon Mistress again in the next week or so...besides she is intended to be a Amazon Scout or Warrior unit. She just has a Bamboo staff for a weapon not a spear.
