There's no Dutch version, it's the English version (note: not the American one) that gets sold in the Netherlands.

For this precise mod, I propose you to make a "dutch" version including dutch names for civs, inhabitants, titles, leaders and some UU but english for everything else.

Btw i think as UU you should use for the Flemmish: medieval infantry with 5/3 (becuase of the Flemmish mercenary generals were very very known for their expertise and loyalty and this effects the morale of the men)
And make Flanders commercial and Industrial (or scientific and the wallon regions Industrial and scientific (or religius)

ATM, it's not finished... I'm adding new units. I still don't have any civpedia. And BTW, this is all in french of course

The only think I can give you is a scen with civs ( quite complete ), starting locs and standard rules. Are you still interested ? If you are, wich version do you need : vanilla or PTW ?

what about Johan and/or Cornelius de Witt? johan was born in dordrecht died in the Hague. he was also the grand pensionary of the province of holland and eventually the de facto ruler of holland before william of orange took the throne (I just read the Black Tulip by Alexandre Dumas which tells this story).

and for luxembourg, you might be able to use Count Sigefroid of Ardennes as a military leader. he was the first count of luxembourg (even though that was in 963).

My first choice was Leeuwaarden. But I was told by dutch CFC members to set the capital in Heerenveen.


BTW : My mod is nearly playable. I finished my tech tree and I installed all needed buildings and units. I still have to finish the biq and write the civpedia. I have a week holyday starting right now. I might try to finish it. Actually, the main problem is this mod is done for the french version of Conquest So, I WILL need somebody to :
1) check and fix it for english version
2) translate new civpedia articles in english ( Bartholomaï,... )

I am originally from Roubaix, near Lille. I can provide help as far as Lille history goes, if it is not too late. Lydéric would be a great military leader, as he defeated Phinaert and founded Lille.

I can also lend my hands for translations. Just let me know!

Some counties have the same name as their capital city ( Namur, Liège, Limbourg, Luxembourg ). Arras is the capital city of Artois. The others have names different from their capital :
Flanders : Ghent
Brabant : Brussels
Zealand : Middelburg
Hainaut : Mons
...

The capital of flanders is not gent. it is Brugge ask anyone who lives in flanders.

Since when do you know anything about the flemish history?
