Why Kill Yourself?

I remember seeing once some discussion about folks who voluntarily requested they be banned by the authorities in order to shore up their real life social and health situations. That to me sounds like using radiation therapy to treat a problem that much gentler herbs and natural healing could have done.

Okay, maybe suicide is the only way for you to escape the pain. But I reckon, hey! if your gonna go out do it with a bang. Like I mean, the terrorists do it in style. Get your name in the papers. Cause some havoc. Knock off some people you think are evil. There are lots of ways to do that on a forum too like by posting over-the-top porno showing off you humping your girlfriend (or boyfriend) or pictures of hideous, graphic wounds from rotten.com. I'm not recommending this of course. I'm only questioning the logic behind the selection of suicide method.

Anyways, please vote and feel free to comment on this madness.

It's a sure-fy way to fight your urges to waste time on CFC ( I'm talking about Abaddon's request for banning).

However, with real suicide, I consider it the coward's way out, and would never do it. Ever.

In answer to the question I do not think being banned would improve my life. It wouldn't exactally devistate me either though.

I'd have to say that getting banned would probably make me cranky and pensive. A voluntary banning seems to be rather clever, since it's temporary.

I have a subconcious desire to get banned just before important exams/assessments are due. I wouldn't need to ask, it's all very Jungian though perhaps the stress causes me to react badly, thus feeding a subconcious desire to have more time to expend on what is really important? Anyway it all works rather well... somehow?

Very wise, now why didn't I think of that I think the idea would be to study; I have three assignments due by the middle of September including two exams, and a written assessment on the whole course, might be an idea, but then I've already taken a week off work to accomodate this.

Ummmm what are you on about? I was obviously faking being upset by posting jokes. I think someone else here is experiencing temper control failure.
