Yeah, I'm not just going to go around handing out my role PM.

Well, after more communication, I changed my mind. He sent me another role pm while I was asleep, and it was very different form his first. Sadly I can't change vote now.

His oh so convenient change of heart in the face of Duke Blackstone's impending and inevitably non-eventuating doom (remember this message was sent after the vote tally had been posted, but before the update in which Duke Blackstone notably didn't die) seems quite suspicious to me; an attempt to absolve himself of what he perhaps knew was Duke Blackstone's innocence.

(As to the joke-reasoning, it was a reference to the fact that on the org, there were a couple of large games in recent months where an obvious scum made the excuse that he was posting on his phone to explain something scummy. We even considered calling it "Phone-Scum Syndrome" or something like that.)

ACtually i find it quite interesting that you guys are not voting for the known Viper gangmember Duke Blackstone. IF you happy for a criminal thug to keep walking around killing people then by all means don't vote him.
