I don't see how water consumption is supposed to be a "britishism"

UK has a sea climate. Lot of moisture in the air and lots of rain days (50% or so).
Keeping your garden green, your grass, does not need that much water.

And UK has a culture for gardening and gardens with grass.
Much more than many other European countries. And needing more water than the nice flowers in pottery pots "gardens" in drier areas of Europe.

So, considering that sprinkling water for gardens is such a high amount in Australia, New Zealand, etc. My guess was that in the former colonies the tradition of nice grassfields for cricket, golf, rugby etc and the tradition for nice green sprinkled gardens was kept up, and became part of the traditions of those countries.

Here's a map I meant to post a few days ago. Shouldn't be too hard.

Crazy map. Cant imagine a single thing Brasil and Mongolia have in common.

In case it is not horsemeat consumption

Is Japan highest or lowest ?

Sumo wrestling ?

Yes. Country of origin of makuuchi sumo wrestlers.

I saw once a doc on Mongolia wrestling
Is really part of their national culture

I wonder how deep rooted it is related with Japan. Could be be a very, very old tradition from the original Japanese tribe before they came in Japan. Korea wrestling tradition is also very, very old.

Rather inconsistent as well; i mean you don't see Obelix being called Bigsoftix.
Asterix does call him Idiotix once, in Asterix in Belgium. And Obelix is not big.

You mean Obelix is not tall ?

He's not big. Nor is he fat. No. Unless you're a Roman legionary and you know he's going to bash you over the head no matter what.

I could just about understand Mongolian sumo wrestlers, but Bulgarian and Georgian ones too??

You've never heard of André the Giant?

Wasn't he French?

Born in France to a Bulgarian and a Pole.

IIRC one of the old Guinness book of records there is burried in one of the small British isles a Viking chieftain of 2.25 meter (or more ?) and with a sturdy skeleton.
I cannot find it back on internet :(
Must have been an awesome warrior
