Kanye West: The voice of our generation

That's scary...

Kanye West ? - not of my generation ;)

During West's tirade, he also said he and Bush were exploited by "Today." The NBC program's assertion that Bush referred to West's comment as his lowest moment of his presidency is not true, Kanye argued.

"That's not what he said," West commented. "He said it's one of his lowest moments."
Did Bush say that? The comment by West was one of his lowest moments?

Really?

No, I mean ... really?

Someone tell me West has made this up.

He's not the voice of the generation at all. He's a jerk; arrogant, egotistical, and self-centered

...How is that not the voice of the generation?

Lol! When you look at it that way I can see it.

BTW, what generation are we talking about here? He's not the voice of my generation that's for sure. I don't know who is really, but I think it could be Wayne and Garth.

They definitely represent my generation.

It's not made up. It's in Bush's newest book.

Well what else would be one of his lowest moments for him, that he considers to be low not us?

Kanye West hates white people.

Not the point. I'm not going to play that game. The point is that the president of the USA seems to value the opinion of some loud-mouth arrogant nobody important enough to consider it one of the lowest moments. Kanye West for Cripe's sake.

Who cares?!

Didn't his mother die in a plastic surgery accident? Or am I confusing him with someone else?

He's a grade A douche (can I say that on civfanatics)? He may be talented but people with talent frequently are douches.

I think Beyonce actually won a greater award for her video, like greatest video and Taylor Swift was greatest female video, something like that. She invited TS on stage so Beyonce seems like a nice gracious person.

Kanye acts like a jackass constantly...... but 808 and heartbreaks was a great album. And I've heard nothing but good things about his newest album as well. I generally don't like hip hop, or his personality, but I've got to admit, he is very talented.

Kanye isn't the voice of our generation. Justin Beiber is.

There is a generation gap between Kanye fans and Beiber fans.

People old enough to remember the Wayne's World movies being release, but not old enough to have watched them.

No, the voice of our generation is a bizarre alien hybrid of the two named Kantin Weiber. It will act douchey, have a horrible singing voice, and cause the end of the world in 2012.

I'd never heard of him until that thing with the awards show made the news and I wiki'd him then. Then I forgot all about him and had to wiki him again for this thread and then remembered doing it before. Suffice it to say he's not the voice of me or my generation. George Strait, maybe. Or Boy George... take your pick.
