Merijn new civs and other projects

Yeah, you will have to transcribe this though. While this is alright unicode, the game doesn't support most of these characters.

I know. I kept all diacritics the game supports. The other ones I changed to a similar looking diacritic if appropriate/available or else a letter without a diacritic.

Just a heads up, you didn't put iCivVietnam in the Modifiers.py lOrder.

EDIT: The 1700 AD scenario lists

Code:
BeginPlayer
    Team=11
    LeaderType=LEADER_ZARA_YAQOB
    CivType=CIVILIZATION_ETHIOPIA
    PlayableCiv=0
    Handicap=HANDICAP_REGENT
EndPlayer
BeginPlayer
    Team=11
    LeaderType=LEADER_TRUNG
    CivType=CIVILIZATION_VIETNAM
    PlayableCiv=0
    Handicap=HANDICAP_REGENT
EndPlayer

A suggestion about UHV3:
A never lose city goal is very boring... my UHV3 is "Control 1 city in each core areas of China, France and America after America spawn, and in the meantime make sure there are no foreign cities in Southeast Asia ".

In history, China, France and America have been Vietnam's enemy, and in 1970s, Vietnam had a plan to unify all the Indochina, organize the Federation of Indochina.

That's not really a unique historical victory, though, is it? All other UHVs at least have some basis in history, historical goals or fairly obvious alternate history. But conquering core areas of France and the US?

You see, Some civs such as Maya, also has a UHV that "Discover the Old World before they discover America", although it's ahistorical; such as Thais, also has a UHV that "allow no foreign powers in Southern Asia", although Thailand never has this plan in history. So why not Vietnam?

If you really feel it not suitable, then I insist on the "make sure there are no foreign cities in Southeast Asia" goal, if possible, also could add something about control South China. In history, Vietnam indeed had a similar plan.

Copy-paste error. Thanks for spotting.

I agree with Jarlaxe Baenre. Some UHV are a bit ahistorical, but could be seen as alternate history or with some basis in history. For example, the Thai UHV represent that they didn't got under control by and European colonization civ.

I think I will combine the current "Lose no cities" UHV with a "allow no foreign cities" UHV to make it more interesting.

EDIT: Changes are up.

That's great. Also a suggestion about 1700ad scenerio. In 1700ad Vietnam Kingdom(Chúa Trịnh Dynasty) is existed. So maybe it should be added in 1700ad scenerio(includes Hanoi and Saigon).

Honestly if Vietnam exists, the third Thai goal makes a lot more sense for Vietnam. Maybe it's better to move it and come up with a different Thai goal, for example related to Buddhism.

Agree. A goal that unify all the Southeast is more suitable for Vietnam. And a culture goal is more suitable for Thailand.

iCivVietnam is still not in the lOrder of Modifiers.py. Isn't that a bad thing?

I'm now working on a new civ. It is Asian and a neighbour of my last created civ. Cookies and eternal glory for the one who guesses which civ I'm working on.

South China?
