NOTW LII - The Immortals II [Game Thread - Concluded]

I'll have one Raw Mana. At least I'm trying to find the evil-doers among us instead of just asking for all of the items. choxorn can have the second one.

In fact, I will change my mind about Takhisis. King Morgan seems to be too greedy, that needs to be punished.

Really?

Jarrema.

 What comes around, goes around.

really?

KingMorgan

C'mon, get a room you two.

Winston Hughes. Gut feeling, can't put my finger on it. Something's off. Jumped on my cases easily, and continues to go after the now not absent BSmith when the only thing really against BSmith is his use of the word 'decisive,' asking obvious things what 'what do you plan to do with the raw mana' when he's already made it known he's looking for an Air one. He's giving me the heebee-geebees.

I have some interesting things to report.

When I got the Earth Orb, Darth Feather's soul was inside it. He was still very dead, but could at least talk to me. Didn't exactly say much, though.

Whatever just happened to Darth Feather, his soul is gone now, the orb that contained his soul broke and I can't talk to him. I'd certainly like it if I could get another orb, my second-level Earth spell is pretty useful.

I can confirm that the orb "had a sole of a player" at the start of the night. Not sure what this means.

I want the raw mana to convert to a water mana, and I still don't trust BSmith with one, due to his disappearance when under the spotlight. That said, I don't think the case on him is strong enough for a lynch anymore.

(sorry for the triple post)

The spotlight was because I disappeared. I didn't disappear because of the spotlight...

That and as BL said, the word "decisive" when it came to trying to lynch Catharsis. Since then we have lynched innocent players with a meager 2-3 votes each, making it really easy for the scum to hide and not stick their necks out.

Basically it meant that Darth Feather's soul was inside the orb and I could talk to him. He didn't say anything before his soul got eviscerated.

You say I jumped on your cases, when in fact I made my own argument against Darth Feather (a far stronger one than you had made, incidentally). You say I'm now 'going after' BSmith when all I did was ask a simple question. You say that the 'only thing' against BSmith yesterday was his use of the word 'decisive', when my point was that he'd said nothing else to justify his sole accusation to date.

Why do you feel the need to twist things to make me look worse? Are you trying to make it a hat-trick of mislynches?

Darth Feather was as good a choice as anyone on day 2 (hence why I joined you in voting for him), but lynching Visorslash yesterday was pure folly for an innocent. Smart move for a villain, though. As far as I can see, the only thing you had against him was that he cast a suspicious eye in your direction. In other words, Visor thought you looked guilty and you had him lynched for it. Well, what goes around comes around, Backwards Logic.

You're half right here, I think. Although they hold a very low chance of catching scum outright, close lynches do put pressure on villains to use their votes decisively, to avoid the danger of a late swing, or to push someone else ahead of them in the queue to the gallows. Like Backwards Logic did with Visorslash yesterday, for example. ;)

- Are you referring to your own water mana orb, or to choxorn's earth mana orb here?

Did Darth Feather have two souls or was he holding someone else's? It doesn't make sense to me.

I want the raw mana to convert to a water mana, and I still don't trust BSmith with one, due to his disappearance when under the spotlight. That said, I don't think the case on him is strong enough for a lynch anymore.

Could you elaborate on this? What has changed about the case on BSmith since four hours before the deadline yesterday?

1)You say I jumped on your cases, when in fact I made my own argument against Darth Feather (a far stronger one than you had made, incidentally). You say I'm now 'going after' BSmith when all I did was ask a simple question. You say that the 'only thing' against BSmith yesterday was his use of the word 'decisive', when my point was that he'd said nothing else to justify his sole accusation to date.

3)Why do you feel the need to twist things to make me look worse? Are you trying to make it a hat-trick of mislynches?

2)Darth Feather was as good a choice as anyone on day 2 (hence why I joined you in voting for him), but lynching Visorslash yesterday was pure folly for an innocent. Smart move for a villain, though. As far as I can see, the only thing you had against him was that he cast a suspicious eye in your direction. In other words, Visor thought you looked guilty and you had him lynched for it. Numbering mine

1) Unless you're count your Day One Accusation after he accused you, my case came before yours, after which you happily jumped on with a 'look how random you (DF) seem to make his vote on day one seem' descriptor. And mine was better almost by definition - it was based on something tangible, not roleplay alone. So, how was yours better exactly?

As for going after BSmith, you've accused him how many days in a row? As for your question, which after I pointed out you didn't even address, it didn't sit right. I mean, it's obvious what he's going to do with it, but to me it had a loaded connotation to it.

2)Pure folly for an innocent? My case against him was based solely on what I perceived to be a large amount of squirming - got a vote against him, threw together some info, then yea came after me after saying he wouldn't be someone to go after experienced players. It didn't sit right, so I went after him. Weak case? Yea, hence why it only got two votes. The issue with your logic is if you go back to the tally, myself, Visor, and BSmith are all tied at two votes (why BSmith didn't appear in the writeup is another separate conversation). Assuming I'm scum, if I was that paranoid about dying over Visor there's a really good chance I swing onto BSmith to save my own skin. Sure, BSmith and I could both be scum, but consider this - he has an extra fire mana he can't use. I need another fire mana, like Jarrema, to get to tier two. So if we're on the same scum team, wouldn't I have acquired the fire mana already (especially after the rule change)? Or if you still think I'm scum, wouldn't I just outright kill Jarrema or BSmith to get those fire mana orbs up for vote so I could maybe acquire them that way? I gain quite a bit with BSmith dying, but as I've said earlier the case against him has stunk.

3)So, who's twisting words now? "My case was better..." "You had him lynched for it..." I didn't push Visor ahead to have him lynched - he was the first of the three to get to two votes. Catharsis voted me to get to two, then you and spaceman's late run got BSmith's vote count to two.

Choxorn's orb (hence why my information confirms Choxorn's story)

Did Darth Feather have two souls or was he holding someone else's? It doesn't make sense to me.

This I do not know.

BSmith actually appeared and begun participating, which is why I am no longer pressing for his lynch, though remain suspicious of him. Also, Takhisis, who I thought was BSmith's partner turned out to be innocent.

Also, on second thought, Choxorn can have the second raw mana since his story seems to fit, and I will Ask for the first

Perhaps I missed something, but how do you know all this?

I also am looking for someone who wants to make a trade. I happen to have a nice shiny fire orb I don’t really have any use for, and would love an air orb in exchange. Anyone willing to make a deal?

I'm going to assume you meant the BSmith bit. That's how.

The second vote on BSmith came way after the deadline had passed. I'd be surprised if you weren't aware of that at the time.

And, in any case, it's not BSmith who looks most likely to be your accomplice here. We should be talking about the other person that Visor had in his sights yesterday, and who cast the original vote against him: KingMorgan.

The much more obvious question to raise in your defence would be: "Why, if I'm a villain, did my partner(s) not come to my rescue and vote for Visorslash too?" But that would draw attention to the connection with KM. If you were teammates, that would give you a very good reason to overlook that defence and push a potential connection with BSmith instead.

- Hey, illusionist? Kennigit!

What do you think of Jarrema's vote, today? KingMorgan, good choice, bad choice?

I notice you made a case again KM here:
Spoiler :
hey guys

it's me Kennigit again.

don't mind me, just looking around

looking around to see what every flavour of WAFER does, because, you know, it's my "personal goal" or whatever

totally not trying to judge what wafer is a threat to me and my mafia teammates and what aren't. And what the powers they grant are.

so we cool everyone?

I'll just take a knee here and uh, you know, firmly look you in the eye and say, "I'm innocent"

*hmpph hmpphphh BWAHHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH

WUBULUBUDUBDUB

hahahaha even I couldn't keep a straight face saying that

can you guys?

p4j_zpse781f601.png
- That was used as the basis for a vote for choxorn, though.

If KingMorgan were today's lynch, would you approve? Add a vote to the pile maybe?

Tally:

Accusations

Jarrema (KingMorgan; )
KingMorgan (Jarrema; )
Winston Hughes (Backwards Logic; )
Backwards Logic (Winston Hughes; )

Votes for the first Raw Mana Orb

Jarrema (Jarrema ; BSmith1068; )
Backwards Logic (Backwards Logic; )

Votes for the Second Raw Mana Orb

BSmith1068 (BSmith1068; Jarrema)
choxorn (spaceman98; )

Give it to me

Wait, give what? The raw mana? Then why don't you vote it to yourself? The shattered Earth orb or Darth Feather's soul? Or the second level Earth spell? This post makes no sense.
