Poll on Firaxis.com

I added Republic of Venice for a new Civ (need to get someone to mod that one). I also asked for a Dreadnought unit (pre-Destroyer), it seems like the jump from Frigate to Destroyer is too huge, I'd like something in between.

oh yes, and I would like the option to destroy your own buildings and raze your improvements (scorched earth tactics!!)

Very nice addition. Especially I liked new section about leaders (joseph stalin)and civs.

I chose:

  • Babylonia (duh)
    Byzantine
    Sumeria
    Korea
    Mayans
    Celts
    Dutch
    Vikings

  • America: Thomas Jefferson
    England: Winston Churchill
    Greece: Pericles
    Rome: Augustus Caesar
(I considered picking Vladimir Lenin or a write-in for Nikita Khrushchev or Mikhail Gorbachev, but I felt those four I chose were better and they said only four)

  • Classical: Mounted
    Medieval: Siege (Trebuchet)
    Medieval: Naval
    Modern/Near Future: Helicopter

A new shell to customize UN resolutions, allowing any civic to become global.

Voted for Austro Hungary of course, they got to be in.

Same for Vikings and the Ottoman Empire, 2 more civs which can´t be ignored. The religions should be a bit more mixed up, and Judaism should prolly come before Buddhism and don´t bring organized religion.

Would love to see some small religious differences, but seeing the political correctness I am afraid that won´t happen, even if it was a positive mix all around.:(

I didn't put it in my response but please, please don't change bombardment. It's fine the way it is.

all I asked for was right-click links to the 'pedia on anything in the game. Simple enough to get overlooked with all the rest of the glamor that has to be put in an expansion pack :\

YES!!!! This is a major need. I can't believe I forgot to request it!!! It is actually faster to look things up on the chart or in the manual then to use the civilopedia - that is an outrage.

Finally we can ask for the Israelis to be in the game!

Although i am extremely disheartened to see it was not a choice.

I thought Henry VIII would be fun.

I've also been desiring a merchant that can go and establish new trade routes and harvest resources outside your civs cultural borders. I find it really annoying when the horses are just two squares outside my culture but completely unreachable.

I wrote hebrews/isrealis in the others slot

it would be fun for them to develope taoism or buddhism..

my current games spain developes buddhism or hinduism first.
that is so funny.

For the units I asked a militant rebel that starts spawning when cities go into riot but the civil war idea is good too.

And I asked that the godly UN be downgraded into customizable multinational organizations like NATO, EU, and Warsaw pact.

I forgot to ask transport aircraft. It would also replace the need for paratroopers. You could load at least infantry on them, possibly artillery as well. The range could be something like 7.

The improvement I suggested, and I was wondering what others thought of this, was having the resources like oil, coal, etc have a number of hammers one can use associated with them. That would encourage civs to hook up multi resources even if they don’t need them for trade. That way if you have one oil that allows 50 hammers and you want to build units in cities that have a maximum production possibility of 75 you either lose some of the hammer productivity in those cities or trade for more hammers of the resources from other civs. An example of this is like the US today we have oil just not enough to produce what we have the manpower for so we import.(Being basic and non political)

The Frog Abides

I have filled out the form twice, once with Firefox and once with IE...It won't let me send, it keeps saying, "A properly formatted Email address is required." This is rediculous - I must be heard! :D

email address all in lower case. As has been mentioned several times already....

They won't accept my email address either. Maybe it has something to do with being my browser (firefox)?
Nope not your browser, I use firefox and it took my e-mail address. Could be its blocking certain domains (unlikely since I use Yahoo and it is usually one of the first blocked), could be a temporary problem (answer hazy try again later), could be Firaxis already knows what you wer going to say.:borg:

Unique Buildings - one for each Civ. Like Houses of Parliament for the English, Arc de Triomphe for the French, Egyptian Sphinx, German Brandenberg Gate.

Another vote for the Dreadnought and Trebuchet here too.

Teddy Roosevelt got my vote for new leader - as for new Civs, Scots, Austro-Hungarians and Mayans are my preference.
