Another question (yet again :P)

Are there bonuses if your cities receive trade routes?
I mean, if you have Sankore University you receive science yields per every route, but if not? Are all foreign trade routes to your cities parasitistic?

Is there a way to prevent other civs to trade with you (or gain something inn exchange) when you know they are taking a lot of yields? apart of war, of course!

Any idea why I can't build a canal in the marked spot?

In a tile where I have a luxury resource that can be mine I have two option because there is a wood on it. Can I chop it after I have make the mine ? Usually you cannot have the wood and the mine in the same tile right ?

Which technology makes that frontier does not allow other civilization units to pass on inside our border ?

I don't build canals often and I but my guess is its either a hills tile (I have never played in strategic view and have no clue how hills look there) or you are getting blocked because you are building the Panama Canal. This wonder constructs normal canals on completion and maybe these kind of block other canals similar to how a placed but not finished dam blocks the placement of another dam in the city.

You have to either chop the tile first, live with the forrest on the mine tile (you can have mines on forrestes with a mine requiring resource) or remove the mine if you want to chop later.

Early empire enforces your borders (and gives you the chance to sell open borders).

Trade routes are never directly negative to you other than providing potential invasion routes to your cities, they get more visibility on you and Genghis gets a combat bonus, so they're not really parasitic.

You can get bonuses from receiving trade routes, it happens almost constantly towards the endgame. I'm not sure what governs this, though; there are a couple of policy cards that give them to you and Cleopatra's LUA gives you food I think from receiving TRs. Theres more to it, but I'm not sure what governs it.

As for preventing them, I think war is the only way, so make sure you declare war on Genghis ASAP to prevent that CS bonus.

It's not a hill tile. I thought it may have to do something with not owning the land on either side of the canal, but interesting theory about the Panama Canal. I'll try again in a few turns and report back!

In what situations does a naval raider (e.g. Privateer) get revealed?

They get revealed when the enter on the sight of another privateer (maybe explorers too, but I'm not sure) and when they are adjacent to another unit or when they attack.

Maybe is an stupid assumption, but could be that the builder is occupying the tile? I do not know if that could have an effect.

I should have a bonus of 2 science because of my religion (I have the Oracle built in this city), but it is only 3.8 from population mostly.

I think the science from beliefs does not count in the city itself. You can look up the info in the mouseover for your total science (top left corner) and find it there. The wording is key here, it does not say +2 science IN cities with a wonder but FOR each city with a wonder (and ofc the religion).

I do not understand, i Have many units and it costs only 3 gold per turn. I do not use the card that reduce the cost of units.

Warrios do not have maitenance cost. You probably have three Archers.
You can consult the Civilioedia (question mark button next to menu button) or tooltips to find the maitenance costs.

at the bottom : "renseignement sur les deplacements de l adversaire +6", is it because she has an embassy in my capital ?
What is the distance that the holy site gives for a bonus for fighting ?

Yes, technically. It's the additional CS one gets from higher Visibility over their enemy, and Embassy is one way to increase the Visibility.

French have only 47 of power score and I finally decided to trade peace because I could not conquer the capital. Do you use the military score to decide if you want to attack one civilization ?

How Cs does add visibility ? She is the suzerain of one CS like me.

What is the ask for hospitality when you meet a new civilization at the beginning, what does it make ?

is it because she has an embassy in my capital ?

No. The bonus is tied to diplomatic visibility but embassies get closed (and have to be accepted again after the war) once you go to war so she has the visibilty from other sources. This version of cathrine gets one level from her abilites. I guess she already has printing and you don't (the printing tech provides one level of visibility).

CS means combat strength in this context.

What is the ask for hospitality when you meet a new civilization at the beginning, what does it make ?

If you ask them and they accept they will see your nearest city. If you get asked and accept you will see their closest city.

Are you sure you do not make confusion with exchange of information of capitals ? I did not remark anything after having accepted hospitality. Does someone know why sometimes it is capital exchange and sometimes hospitality ?

Yes, 100% sure. Exchanging reveals the capitals for both you and the AI and not the closest city.
I think it depends on if you meet near a city (your own or their) or in no mans land.

In which folder do you have to put the maps you download ?

I built the pink building but cannot build the further buildings (the halls and so on,). Usually I do not have any problem. Is is a bug or what ?

From what I remember, the first building is unlocked after political philosophy?
