I've having a weird bug with settling sites not being available that should be. A couple facts:
- I have just 2 mods installed- "wonder progress mod" and the "cheat map" mod. Ive' tried disabling both mods but it has no impact on available city sides. all red.
- Im on a Mac but it shows up on PC too.

Basically after the first cities have been built there are very few available sites for cities. everything is red...any ideas?
Could you post a screenshot showing examples? Preferably with locations you think are legal but are showing as red marked for us to see. If you could also load a save some of the players might be willing to investigate on their computer.

This may have been answered before, but: how does combat resolution work if the game is set to simultaneous turns? I've never actually tried the multiplayer, but I was thinking about this and it seems like it would really screw up the normal combat sequence.

Why does map search have inconsistent results? For example, 3 carriers with 12 jets on board. Map search for "jet" or "jet bomber" will return 8 or 9, but not 12. I've tried zooming out, and not joy, or zoom in, and still wrong numbers. It works with resources ok, but not units

Hi I tried civ 6 two years ago but cant play a Single game.
The AI makes the game two easy and a lot of Features that Sound good like casus bellis is something that the AI cant handle.
Has anythint changed in that Situation in the mean time?

They've fixed the science bug (where the AI would go nuts for science and end up bankrupting itself in doing so), so the difficulty of the mid to late game has increased compared to then. The AI has improved compared to prior to then (the bug was caused by their attempts to improve it), but I wouldn't say it was a massive improvement and the AI still doesn't interact with many of the game features.

The AI makes good progress towards non-military victory conditions, like spreading its religion or earning diplo victory points. Just not very fast. If you roll them with combined arms (siege and ranged and normal attacks), you can still beat them.

Which advance (tech or culture) removes the ability to build walls? In my last game, I had upgrades to walls in the queue for several cities, but they were never built. Yes, I did keep moving things ahead of them in the queue. But eventually they disappeared when they became... obsolete?

To avoid this, so I can use the card for "extra housing from each level of wall", what should I be watching for?

Steel. It instantly provides Urban Defences to all cities which renders walls obsolete for defence, so you can't build any more.

I'm not sure there is a work around (when not using the random tech tree game mode) since it is a vital technology, you can just delay it.

If you are building walls when you unlock the tech you can still finish the walls as long as you've put a turn of production into them.

I think I never built Sankore University, so I have a question to those who used it. Is the description actually matching the effects it provides? I was looking at its modifiers and they seem partially wrong. Like where its says that yields should go to the city with Sankore, they might actually go to the city that is sending a TR?

And another question. OG Saladin has its agenda removed in the Leader Pass. Anyone noticed that? Is there any explanation for that, maybe I am missing something?
By removed do you mean its applying the new agenda even for the og persona? I understood new agenda was meant to be the opposite of Mvemba's one, so isolacionist religious, while his og one was meant to be expansionist religious.

No. Saladin Sultan has an agenda. Saladin Vizier has NO agenda at all.

Created a new game with both Saladins as AI and on diplo screen Vizier Saladin has the Ayyubid Dynasty agenda. Could it be only displaying but without effect?

Yup, exactly. There is no effect. The modifiers are gone.
Found a religion and spread to your cities and he will not react. And you should get a diplo hit of -6 or -8.

Anyone knows why I cant buy tank corps with faith? I have 1546 faith so I can definitely afford it

not enough food coming in… you have options, but in my opinion the obvious one at this stage of the game is to build a settler… your population will go down by one, the city will restart producing pop and you will start expanding your empire.

other options: get enough amenities so that your city will produce +10% food, but you’re far from that and it’s too early in the game to easily achieve… Also choose food as the city production priority, but in this case, it won’t make you produce more, the city already uses all the best food tiles it has, so you’d have to get some 2 food tiles around by buying and build farm on them…

Still… for your game’s sake, build a settler 😀

Et si tu as des difficultés avec l’anglais, n’hésite pas a m’envoyer un message 😁 Bonne chance !

I dont think it was food issue > i could set focus on food (or do it manually) still the city was blocked (save file attached :'Start monument').
And yes I know for the settler :D i was making some test on the same start with different approach up to turn 25 ;) (and actually that one is not the worst), here I wanted to reach the 6 pop for an inspiration before starting the settler ;)

edit : lets add the initial save + another run with early settlers if anyone cares :o
