After the religion revamp I tried to make an escort formation of a religious unit with a military one when plaing as Poland - to no avail. How about Conquistadors of Spain? Can they link with religious units as an exception for the purpose of their ability (+10 combat strength)?

So if you trade away an artifact in one of your archeological museums to the AI (who keeps requesting me trade my artifacts), do you get a new archeologist with 1 charge to fill your museum again?

I actually may consider this since I have cultural victory off. But I do have over 20 antiquity sites in my land I'd like to get rid of.

You don't get an Archaeologist, but you can build one if for some reason the space in your museum frees. And it'll have as many charges as there are free spaces, so you can trade two artifacts, or even all three.

What is a guru? How are they generated? What powers do they have? Can they turn other civ's cities into your religion?

Guru's are religious units that have to be purchased with faith in a Holy site with a temple. They can't spread religion or initiate theological combat but they can expend a charge to heal all adjacent religious units, and they have promotions that buff other units.

The movie that killed Mike Myers' career? :p

Yeah I'm currently rebuilding my archeologists. Unfortunately they are full price even if you only have 1 slot missing. :( I couldn't find another buyers to sell all 3 slots. Oh well. I probably won't do this too much more. I'm currently building more theater squares and archeological museums anyways since Kongo gets a bonus from all those (I thought they only got the bonus from relics, but artifacts also seem to give a bonus).

Is there any way to correct the bug where you have a declaration of friendship with someone, but they also declared a joint war on you? Or am I stuck being at war with them forever? I really don't want to reload this one.

Not that I am aware of.

Yeah I was hoping when my declaration of friendship and allied state wore off I could make peace. I even denounced her in an effort to declare war. I can't declare war either.

I ended up taking her (France) capital. Peter had did a number on it already and nearly conquered it. With Pyramids and Hanging Gardens it was too tempting to pass up. Of course I still paid the usual warmonger penalty for that, I was hoping since I wasn't technically at war with her I wouldn't get a warmongering penalty. Oh well. At least my trade routes passing this city were no longer vulnerable. She only has 2 backwater cities tucked away pretty far away which aren't as much threat to my trade routes. I only hope I don't get a war weariness penalty I can't deal with. I'm beyond the point of being able to reload. I might have to abandon the game if the war weariness gets too bad.

edit: I looked it up because I always forget the mechanics of war weariness, I think I can manage this.

It does not accumulate when your units or cities are not engaged in combat that turn even when you are at war. During this period weariness is reduced. Maintaining a balance between being aggressive and passive is essential to managing war.

Need a little help here. I've subscribed to a few Mods on steam and can see them in the additional content screen.

There doesn't seem to be a way to actually select any of the mods either individually or as a collection. Civ V had a check box to enable the Mods you wanted to use but there is no where I can see to actually use one or more of these mods in a game.

What am I missing?

Uhhh...

Interesting. That screen looks totally different from my own Additional Content screen.
