I havent played Civ 6 in half a year; I was wondering if district snapshotting was still in the game? As in, I remember you wanted to place districts as early as possible, as they would have a lower cost than if you placed them later. you could then go back to finish them at any time.

Yes still in game.

The most recent patch also updated the discount for districts that you have less of. 40% up from 25%. This mechanic is not totally understood but after you hit a number of techs and districts building districts that you have less of compared to other districts is done at a discount which is now very significant. Also district are now 10% less expensive to produce.
 
Any way to tell how many turns you have left of a declaration of friendship? I thought there was, but I couldn't find it in the diplomacy window.
 
Quick question guys, does YNAMP turn off achievements? I really want to use their greatest earth map, but I'd like to still get achievements :X.

No. Mods do not turn off achievements as long as you are using the standard ruleset. (in case you don't know what rulesets are: You can select them while setting up a game to play with a different configuration. For example, you need a ruleset for scenarios, and some mods use them to allow for different variations of the game in one mod. They are never active by default, however)
 
I am having a strange problem with my spies. I normally use them for counterespionage, but I want to try a sabotage mission. When I select the spy and try to move him to another civ's city, I can't because none of the other civs' cities show up for selection - only my cities appear. I've been warmongering a bit and everyone else has denounced me, but I didn't think that mattered. How do I get to place him in the city I want him in? I am on a Mac, so I don't have the latest patch.
 
Is there a problem with the voicing of the tech quotes? In the beginning I get them but after a few turns they stop.
 
1. If you use the Cryptology policy and/or another spy with Quartermaster promotion, both of which allow your spies to perform as one level higher, will that boost the success chance of a Master Spy since they are already at the highest level?

2. If you want to build a National Park all tiles must be unimproved but can you place improvements and then remove them when you reach Conservation or do the tiles have to remain unimproved for the entire game?
 
I just upgrade cavalier to cavalry but i can't upgrade knight to cavalry.
Is this normal,

I only receive trade bargain for 1 gold per turn, whatever what i'm trying to trade. Is it a bug from the latest patch?

To make a corps you need to get 'Nationalism' Civic (Industrial Era) and have two units of the same kind (2 knights, 2 musketmen etc.) in adjacent tiles.
When you select one of those units a new action button will appear with two stars - click it & select the other unit to join your corps, highlighted in blue.

Tip: corps inherit XP from one of the units. Try to join newly-built units with promoted ones for best result.
 
Not much, at least not yet, but there is the Game of the Month challenge, where, twice a month, a turn 1 save is uploaded, where you have to get a certain victory. This means that you're all playing the same civilization on the same map with the same goal.

As far as I am aware, there is no special forum for things like One City Challenges or things like that. If you just roam around you'll find some people talking about challenges though.
 
How do I turn off these notifications? It is utterly irritating.
