I think embarked units count, but I'm not entirely sure.

As for the notifications, not sure how to turn them on, I want to leave them on longer. When you have max civs in the game, it's hard to keep up with the spam of notifications, yes I'm one of those weirdos that likes to read them. But I have trouble keeping up, and especially when they are continuously scrolling upwards. Ideally I'd like to get rid of the declaration of friendship notifications, those are unnecessary imho.

Another problem with notifications with max civs is you can't see the combat action on your off turn because of the message spam.

How do I turn off these notifications? It is utterly irritating.
Let us know if you find a solution!

Looking for a quick answer to a hopefully easy question:

Can I use a embarked melee unit to siege a city tile that's on water, or must I have naval units for all water tiles surrounding a city?

I believe Embarked unit Zone of Control (ZOC) only counts for the tile they are on ... So to answer your question yes they can be used.

As i was not able to found a religion, is it some utilities to build temple? I'm playing Brazil and already have invested in holy site in jungle...

Answer found:
You don't NEED to go for faith if you don't wish to. But even without a religion, faith is still an important currency for other aspects of the game and can help you towards other victory conditions:
1) Buying units for Theocracy military pushes.
2) Buying specific Great People to advance your chosen victory condition.
3) Buying Naturalists to create National Parks for boosts to tourism and amenities if you need it.

In this scenario, you are better off moving to the river and adjacent to that coffee.
Yes! I would also consider to preserve the rainforest on this tile (to use initially this tile as it is and / or chop later) and settle at the river 1 more tile northeast on the plainsHills. Anyways I'd move FIRST the warrior to have a look in general and in this case 2 tiles northeast (and then farther in this direction) BEFORE settling.

I'm curious what the warrior finds there ...

Assumed somebody has just a "very late savegame" (maybe even after meeting a victory condition), because an initial savegame was not made manually and original automatic saves are completely overwritten meanwhile by later game restarts.

Can (exact) this game be regenerated & replayed by loading the very late savegame, 'saving the configuration file', 'loading the configuration file' and then "simply" starting it?

Hi, sorry if this is a very basic question... I am playing vanilla (no choice), and want to see what my current deals are and how long they have to go (NOT trade deals, the deals with the AI e.g. friendship or luxuries). I can't seem to find where to see what deals I have and how long they have to go.
Is there a place to see this please?

So about the factories, power plants/zoos, stadiums:

If I have like, 5 to 6 cities relatively close to one another, and I let one city have the industrial zone have a factory, and another city have a zoo, that should affect all the other cities, right?

As of the fall patch from last year, there was no need to build factories and zoos everywhere else because they nerfed the stacking bonus overlaps.

So as I play the game today with Summer patch, should I still build more factories and zoos for other cities when there already is a factory/zoo giving bonuses to my other cities?

Two potential reasons to build factories/power plants: 1) to provide a backup in case you lose the nearby one to pillaging or losing the city, 2) for the (minor) production boost of having specialists working them.

Re the entertainment buildings, only for the backup as in (1) above.

When a city state conquers another city state, the conquered city state just disappears, right? At least it happened like this in the GotN-scenario, I can't remember though having encountered this in the base game.

I have played several games on Deity on a tiny map and can't remember that the AI ever builds Commercial Hub districts, at least they always have 0 Great Merchant points. Has anyone come across a different situation?

Why my Mineas Geras no longuer have a range of 3?
I was bombarding a city than without any explication, my Brazilian battleships were no longer in range?
Is it the anti-air gun?

Self answer: Yes it the anti air unit.

Are achievements available for Multiplayer "scenarios"? (e.g. Hallowed Ground)

The Search function in this forum. Is there a way to make it work better? I found the old forum much better for searching.

Is it normal for encampments gained through conquest(not pillaged in any way) after gaining suzerainship of Carthage to modify the max trade routes ? Sometimesi I get them, sometimes im not . Which way is the „works as intended” mechanic ?
