I hope you feel better soon hobbs :( When my throat's bothering me, I find alcohol really helps me XD

I made a chocolate cake, but my frosting is too thick and I had trouble spreading it on. I should've added some milk ... at least it will still taste okay, even if it looks ugly.

Want... cake...

:twitch: It is seriously vexing to live in a country in which politicians keep their money abroad but will make receiving or paying 50 dollars through PayPal an operation worthy of Ethan Hunt.
^This happens even as the government has released estimates that almost an entired GDP's worth is stashed away in offshore accounts, but woe betide Takhisis if he wants to pay for a videogame because he is then a tax-dodging importer. WTH?
Not Hephaistos? You've been Romanised, good chap!
ΡΩΜΑΙΟΣ.

The people who are able to store all that money offshore are rich. That's the difference.

Aesthetically it looks terrible, but at the same time it undoubtedly look delicious. I will take a 3tn portion.

Hm, only in Athens would you have the temple of Hephaestus next to some god-awful third world buildings :/
Had the displeasure to visit the Thesion area today.
There are trees in Athens! From your photos, I was wondering if that city had any green space at all.

Instead it has existed for centuries named after Theseus, the founder of Athens, who had gone to Crete to kill the minataur.

I don't know what You're talking about ! It looks delicious ! I could make that cake disappear in no time... mmmm.... :yumyum:

Only loosely related, but the first time I heard of "offshore accounts" I thought it meant there were banks based out of boats.

Well, no, but almost, given that some of the largest tax havens outside the UK and US are tiny Caribbean, English Channel, or Indian Ocean islands (and, once upon a time, also Hong Kong).

True dat. Not only is Minotaur misspelled, but Theseus was the son of Aegeus, the King of Athens; ergo Theseus could not have founded Athens,

Theseus was the main hero in the Attic mythic circle, is all :)
The city was usually called (among other things) "the city of Theseus". In roman times, after Hadrian's extensive rebuilding project (eg in the agora and below the acropolis), an epigram added reads: "This isn't Theseus' but Hadrian's city". An ancient version of later "francolevantinism" :shake:

I did mean 3 tons
