I'd prefer the dry 111. In the shade dry isn't so bad.

Coincidentally, I've also spent a number of summers in Arizona when I was a kid.

EDIT: for reference, it was around the Chino Valley/Prescott/I-forgot-that-third-city area, so also a pretty hot area.

I'm not saying that -30C is fun, but it's doable in small doses as long as you're dressed properly.
