Balance of Power
If he wasn't, then someone else would've beaten him to a new thread with a sucky title anyway.
Someone banned me in #nes for speaking freely about the Danish age of consent.
It is 2:36 AM. I am 500 words away from finishing an essay which is due tomorrow at 5 PM....
Remember that rant about my best friend moving to Arizona because his parents broke up?
Well they're moving to Washington state because they want to get back together (that's his stepdad's origin). So basically, he has moved from Texas to California to Arizona to Nevada to back to Arizona to Washington and to New Hampshire. He only had one true friend through that lifespan that he really had connections with until I came along. He had other friends, some his age, some older, and some younger. He was like a little brother to me. Soon, he was a friend to all of our family. He would come to my house, stay up all night playing Nazi Zombies, and I dreamt about him in high school. Until the day he was uprooted yet again back to Arizona. We were the first to know.
He stayed around for two more weeks. We were the first to know about him moving, and we were the ones that sent him off. All because of some adults acting like a bunch of thirteen-year-olds and playing girlfriend. Like the "orange crush" that I thought I was in love with for nine months? I never cried over her rejection. I just complained incessantly about it here and got rightful flaming and increased my reputation as an immature twit. I thought I loved her. However, love is like smoking: You never decide to quit. Your body quits for you. I was infatuated with her personality, her intuition, everything about her, and I thought she was perfect while under said infatuation. When she devalued me as a friend twice, I said "I don't love her." Soon enough, a few days later, I was back in infatuation. Now, I have no feelings for anybody and am only friends with said girl (who is currently single). And his goddamn parents break up and want to get back together three months later. Just like teenage fake puppy love bullcrap that we've all experienced.
Now, the moral of this rant? Keep your friends close. Cherish who you have. Because in a blink of an eye... They just might be gone.
I have to lead some 12 year olds as their PE teacher![]()
