I have just been deeply traumatised. I received a letter in the mail from UAC (University Admissions Centre) informing me that I would not receive a UAI (Universities Admissions Index) this year. This worried me.
Fortunately, the letter went on to state that the name was being changed to ATAR, and it was becoming a national rank, not a state one. Which is good, because the way they've converted from one to the other has it that my ATAR will be 0.05 higher than my UAI would've been.
