Random Rants XXXIX: Coming up with a title is stressful

I managed to salvage the UN topic by talking about the Millenium Development Goals and the problem of noncompliance with resolutions.

Shows how much I know about the UN, I doubt I could write an essay on either of those (never even heard of the Development Goals until I wikipedia'd that link).

I wish the idea of courting a girl was the same in this day and age as it was in previous generations. What happened to the times when a man took his date out for a nice meal, and then they went to see a film, or to the disco, or even something more gentle like a romantic walk in the park? Now it seems to be getting her drunk as fast as possible and pulling her clothes off. I'd much rather wine-and-dine a lady.

It's even apparent in the environment we live. There are no places, at least in my town or surrounding areas, that allow young couples to go for a romantic time together. You're crammed into a building with thousands of other morons being loud, obnoxious and drinking too much. Maybe I'm blinded by a romanticist ideal but it can't have always been like this.

Aaaarrrggghhh! I enter YouTube (without signing in) and for some reason it starts offering -'recomending'- to show me videos on how girls should put on makeup and dresses for their proms. I hate girly stuff! I'm nearly hoping that the usual recommendations for bands I usually play -or Crackòvia- and freak me out because they remind me YouTube tracks everything I do come back.
