Random Raves XIV: The Rave of the Century

To what country? I want to be exchanged to North Korea to see how life is under a Communist dictatorship.

You are kidding right...

If you do, I suggest you start telling North Koreans to revolt against the government.

Speaking of which, you'd probably be the first CFC poster posting from North Korea...

We got this sorted out. I will get it someday!

Today was so easy.. in Lit. me and this girl just talked the whole class, in French we barely did anything, in AP we had a fire drill. Fast and easy day :D

looks like my annoying neighbor will be leaving involuntarily - regular sleep at last

Hehe, since it's the week before winter break, my school decided to have an assembly where they played various sorts of holiday music, with school orchestra, choir, and stuff. What was cool though, halfway through, instead of playing holiday music, they decided to drop down a screen, turn down the lights, and start playing video game music. And with the screen they flashed clips of the game (actual clips, not just pictures) while they played the theme music.

Guess what one of the games they decided to play was?

That's right, Civilization IV. While listening to the theme (Baba Yetu) and watching a bunch of wonder movies, I nostalgia'd a couple times, then nerdgasmed.

It was awesome

It wasn't as awsome as my school's winter concert last year.
All of the band and choir were there and the gym was packed. Well, the custodian forgot to turn the heat down so it was like a sauna in there. One girl, at the very top of the bleachers fainted and began to fall backwards. Someone pushed her forward, she fell sideways, and went tumbling down the bleachers. It was like watching a domino chain fall.

It hasn't even snowed yet but schools have a 2 hour delay tomorrow because there's a possibility of snow. And if it snows more than 2 inches school will be cancelled because no one in their sane mind would get out of their house in that mess, God forbid.

I forgot what snow is like in the south. When I lived in Georgia everyone went crazy when it even appeared that there might be a flurry.
(I remember my first day of school in Minnesota we got a snow flurry and I got so excited because I had only seen snow like 4 times before.)
We are expecting 4 inches of snow tonight and school being delayed isn't even on the radar. It takes like a foot of snow to get a snowday.

School's been cancelled! Even though we didn't get enough snow to even properly cover the grass but the roads are all icy and no one can drive in that condition, so the county's hibernating.
