Apparently I didn't make it clear enough. If your friend being in an accident is raveworthy, new car or not, I'd seriously question whether you can really consider that person a friend. If one of my friends was in an accident, there is no way I would be raving about any aspect of it.

A Song Of Ice and Fire is the best series ever.

I read Game of Thrones a few days ago and am now 2/5 of the way through Clash of Kings. It was a tough battle between World War Z and Game of Thrones, but the latter won with its ending. Totally blew me away.

I read Game of Thrones a few days ago and am now 2/5 of the way through Clash of Kings. It was a tough battle between World War Z and Game of Thrones, but the latter won with its ending. Totally blew me away.

Game of Thrones was awesome, but Clash of Kings occasionally slips into boring in the earlier parts.

And why in the world he thought it was a good idea for every other chapter to be

Bran's whining about how he's a cripple

not to mention, half the chapters seem to be from the viewpoint of children under the age of ten (both of whom's chapters seem to be the same thing over and over again), and not much of note happens for awhile...

Spoiler borderline spoilers noting which characters are still alive :

I'm a little over 300 pages in and there has been exactly ONE Daenarys chapter. WTH. Her storyline is really interesting, much more so than Bran and Arya doing the same thing every chapter. Tyrion's chapters are also usually splendid, Theon's and Catelyn's are good too. I liked Davos as well. Sansa's are okay. Yet Bran and Arya dominate over the more intriguing chapters. Sigh.

(It's a shame Arya's chapter suck for so much of the book, they're just starting to get decent, she's a great character. I also can't help but question how no one notices she's female. Does she have a really low voice or something?
