Thank you! Yes, there is quite a bit of curling going on. Yankees and Canadians refuse to adapt to our native culture because of their thick and unyielding skulls, and so they each host two ten-week curling championships a year.

Laugh all you want, but it's a very practiced sport.

On Tuesday my World Religions class will be host to a bunch of Pakistani educators visiting the U.S. through a program (I think) in the U.S. State Department.

This class is sooo awesome.

This happened today, so very cool.

All the Pakistani professors and principles were very cool, very nice, and answered our questions very thoughtfully, even though they could speak little English themselves. I learned a lot about Pakistan, Islam, and it's education system, and I hope they also learned a lot about public schooling in America.

It was also funny to watch like half of them take out their iPhones and tape our class, I assuming so they could show their students back home

Good for you, pity other people in the US don't get the same perspective of foreigners as human beings.

I got at least 2 inches of hair taken off today. It feels alot better shorter. People won't recognize me at school tomorrow. Oh, and the weather has been great since the tornadoes left!

Walking over a highway I saw a one-lane version of how traffic jams forms. Someone stopped on the lane adjacent to the divider, drove off, and soon cars were stopping and speeding up near the same area. Quite an interesting thing to observe. Probably a rant for the drivers there though.

I was looking at Google Analytics and tvtropes shows up as one of the referrers to my site. I wonder how that happened.

I also got several people clicking on my site after searching for ... um, a certain intercourse position. That's sort of amusing in a way.

A homeschooler won our County spelling bee and is off to the Nationals. It was an excellent bee.

And there isn't much better than driving through residential areas with loud music going and the windows down at 10:30 at night in celebration.
