Also, I think the main reason "adultery is frowned upon in most countries" is that it is a lot easier to feel sad for someone being cheated on than to feel glad for someone having several partners to pork.

On the other hand, it seems very likely that Commo basically just wanted to brag, and I get that this is neither likable nor welcome.

Also I came to the general impression having people fight for a moral cause faces a huge paradox. People who have the wisdom to do the job justice also have the wisdom to not get caught up in delusions of moral grandeur and as a consequence may likely not get involved that much.
And people who get involved with all their passion and strength may do so because they do suffer from it, impairing their judgement but making them all the louder.

I mean, there's nothing inherently wrong with porking several partners as long as they're all okay with that, it's more "if you've committed to a relationship and tell your partner that you're not screwing anyone else, and then you go do the thing you said you're not doing, that's a total dick move"

As @choxorn mentioned, there's nothing wrong with having several partners as long as everyone involved is aware of it and consents to the practice.

Frowning upon the betrayal of a spouse, I think, extends beyond "path of least resistance" territory, especially since there is nothing admirable in being proud of being a traitor to someone who is meant to be your life partner. I'd be very interested in reading and participating in a "Why adultery is pretty cool" thread if you're willing to make one.

I don't think that is entirely true. I do think this is very true.

You know what else is "a total dick move"? Spending money to play virtual games while there is a food crisis in the east of Africa right now. Making people suffer more than you ever have, right now.
If you play the morality game, chances are you gonna loose.

Nothing expands beyond that. People are like lightening. They always take the path of least resistance. It is just our luck that we can change what resistance we feel and that we channel resistance to be faced with reward to be had. In other words: Our thoughts always carry emotions as baggage and henceforth with the power of our thoughts we can manipulate the resistance coming our way. But we will always choose the lesser resistance. One way or the other. But it is truly amazing what ability we have to make this count.
To meaningfully contribute to this discussion, you need to first ask yourself: Why am I really doing anything? And what role do moral ideas play in it?
So far, you clearly have not done so.
