It would be a lot more in factory farmed garbage. It's also on your toothbrush.

Raw milk dairies general take way better care of their cows, including hygiene.

You’ll never be as skinny as me.

Is this a competition?

Intellectually between me and Hygro? I'd never ... that'd be like challenging Stephen Hawking to a foot race.

Trash talk just turns him on. ;)

Lol.

Somebody say Trash Talk?

Organic is base level. They sell this in Southern California, but you might have to search:

Raw milk is so gross, it has fecal matter in ità
Raw milk today is certainly unlike the raw milk of 40 years ago. In the two years we lived in rural Maine in the early 70s, we drank raw milk. It came in bottles and jars from the farmer down the road. He only had pastured Jersey cows so the milk was the best you can get. He machine milked his 40-50 cows, so after washing the udders and slipping on the sucking apparatus, the milk never saw the light of day. The cream always floated to the top. It was clean and tasty. Hygro's pic didn't say what kind of cows so I assume it is a mixture.

The Facts on Jersey Milk
1) Jersey milk contains; 18% more protein, 20% more calcium and 25% more butterfat than average, (a butterfat level up to about 6.8%.)

2) Skimmed or low fat still has the taste of whole milk due to its higher solids—not-fat content.

3) Jersey milk has been shown to contain more Vitamins A and Vitamins B1 per litre than Holstein milk. In addition it has an extremely high concentration of B2 (riboflavin) .

4) Jersey's provides the most nutrition per given unit of volume. If a person were consuming Holstein low fat milk, 9.64 ounces would need to be consumed in order to receive the same amount of nutrition from consuming 8 ounces of Jersey's.

There's two main raw milk dairies in California, Claravale and Organic Pastures. Claravale was my top choice. They only had Jersey cows. The Texas one I bought from tastes like Holstein.

Breast milk is king of the milks. Tailor made for humans. Been around 30 years or so since I last tried it though. I'm told I enjoyed it tremendously back then.

I hear horse or donkey milk is a good second as it resembles human milk.

Goats milk is good too. It was used as an alternative for breast milk for babies before formula was available. Some goats were trained to allow babies to suckle right from their teats. Now there's a picture. It makes great cheese but as a pure milk I find it's a little too goaty for my taste.

I am daft enough to buy that much milk every single week.

My flatmate and I probably get through nearly a gallon of milk in a week anyway, but you can't buy that much at once. The most you can buy around here is 3 L and even that size of carton is nearly too big for the fridge door shelf.

What is that? Unpasteurised milk? And I thought that where I liked was ridiculously hippyish,

I had a non-related room mate once and we both bought our own milk because neither of us use glasses for milk.
