[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Sign up Thread

@lymond recommended I join a game, so I will. :D

I've only won a few games on Noble, so I will probably be as unhelpful as the other new people. This is also my first SGOTM game. Yay.

That is how I started, and moved from getting spanked on Prince level, to becoming Immortal (and sometimes Deity) capable. In SGOTM, every turn is analyzed by good/great payers, and you learn a lot. Not only that, but YOU help them get better by asking questions and proposing stuf they have never thought of. We need new blood to get us thinking outside our usual box. Win/win. I hope you are not tired of winning already. ;)
 
I saw this thread a few months ago. Is it still open for signing up? I'd like to join! I'm Immortal level player with a few deity level experience. Also first time in SGOTM.

Teams have not been assigned yet. I am sure you would be welcome to a team.
 
Welcome to all our new players - krikav, OldGuard, Oblivionyx and MirrorGuard. :wavey:

25 players now signed up. When I get back from vacation, I'll try to work out the best team allocations. If you have any preferences, please shout out.
 
Would be nice if there is a good mix of experienced and inexperienced SGOTM players in each team.
I like micro, calculating, charts etc, so I would like to be in a team which have a tolerance for such.

So, RIP ??! Schade, too bad... Thanks to all who have helped keep the SGOTM going, and to all participants who have provided me with some very pleasant hours!

Sad tidings in that case. Winter would be a good time to run a beast like this I guess, with people possibly present?
 
I think Alan is dealing with real life issues. If we did start this game who knows if all the people that signed up are still about?

Phoenix Rising team should be able to play here. A number of them are waiting for this to start. We should have at least 3 active players. Hopefully all our new PR members would be about too.

Either way a decision should be made if this game is going to proceed. :)
 
Well, I would gladly sign up if there is room in one team (was part of OSS in another life), and the game starts ofc :)
 
Is the problem staff to run the game? The progress page already has options to download the world builder save. (Albeit a dead link.)

What are we missing to make this happen? I know Mylene is dying for one last Phoenix game. :D
