Forums have been down for me all day today (was it just me?), so only just got to see today's bug reports. Will see if I can reproduce the reported CTDs tomorrow.
CTD, not repeatable, but here's the dump anyways.
2nd CTD with mini
3rd CTD
4th CTD
CTD at EoT, not WfoC though. Can usually reload Autosave and proceed. Here is latest Mini, Log from same place as Mini, and Save. SVN5675 new game started yesterday.

Edit: Another set after about 5 or so turns. CTD occurring quicker as this set is the 3rd one in the last hour. Gamespeed is marathon and Prince level, PM map large I think.
As SO suggested I tried to load his game. I got to the finalization screen with the running man and it CTD just as the map was about to be revealed.
MiniDump attached.

EDIT: I just realized I do Not know How to let the game auto run!? All these years of playing and I don't know how to do this!![]()
EDIT2: My gut feeling is that my CTD involves the autosave. Is Max Compat really compatible with the new Multi thread function? Just askin'.

Next set of savegame and Mini from my game.
The SVN Version I'm using is 5675.
I wiped the log file prior to this CTD and this is what it has now.

Edit - BTW, the multi-threading and the save format are totally unrelated, and definitely cannot influence one another.
Yeah but you didnt change it to 1 in the "A_New_Dawn_GlobalDefines" last item there.?? And again i dont want to think i know, because i am DEFINITELY not the Professional here, Koshling definitely IS!!
Agreed compatibility has nothing to do with this happening, infact Compatibility for right now is the BEST solution for Civ IV to date.
@Koshling are you on Win 7 or 6, and when testing do you "mostly" use VP? Just again wondering
Maybe VP is the only way to go??

I'm on Win8. I mostly use VP simply because so many games people send me need them to run (so it's really just convenience, since I am always loading different games, and some need it). I tend to turn VP OFF for my own games when I can get away with it (up to about middle ages typically). I think it is HIGHLY unlikely VP is an issue either way in this current problem however. It clearly IS related to the multi-threading (since it doesn't happen for you when you turn it off), but that doesn't really help identify the problem, since I don't get it even with multi-threading (even if I set it very aggressively to 8 threads). Somehow we need to figure out what is different for you and Joseph that exposes whatever the underlying problem is.
Edit - I've PM'd all the modders with a DLL debugging capability (TB, ls612, AIAndy) to see if anyone of them can reproduce it - if we can get it to happen in a debuggable environment we should be able to make progress. If anyone else has DLL-level debugging capabilities that I don't know about please give it a go also...
I just tested Joseph's save and it ran fine for me under the debugger.
Okay guys I changed the Multi-thread number from 4 to 1 in "A_New_Dawn_GlobalDefines" and have played 12+ turns with out having to save or a CTD.
Would seem to point to the setting for threads.
EDIT: @Koshling and ls612,
When you tested my game was your "A_New_Dawn_GlobalDefines" setting at 1 or the default 4? If you had lowered it off of 4 then that would explain why you had no problem but I was.

Mine was at the default (4).
