Single Player bugs and crashes - After the 24th of February 2014

Can anyone play this? I just cant seem to load any of my games, cant even start a new one. Its updated to the latest revision and everything, this is very frustrating considering C2C is one of my favorite games.

I loaded and played the save without problems.

When you did the update to the latest version you did not leave bits of the old version around in the folders did you? That sometimes causes this sort of problem.
 
It is in the tower mod but only because it was in the Total War mod. The towers in C2C don't do half the things the towers do there.
 
I play with the Version v34 (SVN Revision 7080) an i have massive errors like Memory Allocation Failure or ctds without any error message.
Its a fresh game and the Installation from Civ 4 is new (Have OS upgraded from Win 7 64 Bit to Windows 8.1). With the old Version v33 i had no Problems with MAF errors.

But now the errors occurs from begin of the game. I attach Logs, minidump and savegame.

When i load the last save, then i can play many Rounds, but the next crash comes surely.

If v33 played fine with Win 7 64 why would you switch OS to Win 8.1 that has caused even some of the Modders problems?

Are you running the BtS and C2C mod as Administrator?
Are you "letting Windows" control your video performance and ram usage?

I have changed to Win 8.1 because my mother needs my Win 7. Civ 4 is not all of world. ;)

BtS is running as Admin and Windows controls the use of memory (i have not changed standard setups).

The mindump shows this crash happens in the Graphics Paging code. From the mindump i don't see why this would happen.

I have now deactivated the graphic paging in the BUG options. No error occured until now.
 
Siege weapons such as ballistae and siege onagers only gain 0.1 xp when attacking units as of rev 7106. I do not have Dynamic xp enabled.

Sorry... got a bit overzealous with the withdrawal xp adjustment - it shouldn't be that penalizing for combat limit withdrawals. I'll address that when it becomes convenient to do so soon.
 
So i uninstalled and reinstalled everything, even Civ4, still get those damned crashes. I'm just giving up on playing for a week or so and try again.

Did you patch each one before moving on to the next, then turning off and on your PC for each also??
 
Latest patch and everything. And then downloaded C2C of the svn.

I am talking about vanilla civ also, and then patch it to 1.6???, then restart your PC, then install BtS then patch (manually) 3.19, then restart again.
 
Build 7077 (Started the game with this version and didn't update so fare)

I got the task to build 11 Trireme but because I already researched Bronze Working before I advanced to the next Age where I got this task its no longer possible for me to build this unit.


Also all captured city's have a huge (<-1000) negative Fire value.

Beside that I had NPC unit stacks that entered my territory and after I killed the first unit moved out of my territory and then left standing 1 field away from my territory for my Hero unit to kill them slowly.

Why can't you build Triremes anymore?

Because with Bronze Working they get replaced with a newer unit and unless you rush for the Ship Building tech that is requirement for Tireme you most likely will have Bronze Working before.
So unless there is some way, I don't know about, to build replaced units I can't build them any more.
