Single Player bugs and crashes v37 plus (SVN) - After the 24th of December 2016

In my eternity game, on the latest SVN; Captive - Military gives the wrong resource amount for rushing buildings. It looks like it's been reset to normal game speed resource amount.

+29 resources for a size 2 city, considering that a flint quarry needs 358 resources, this has made the captive next to useless.

The same is the case with the treasure - +310 resources in a size 21 city.

I haven't checked if the same is the case with the captive - civilian or the buildable rush units, but it might be a good idea to check if it is the case.
Please see/read the Game Speed thread. Also please provide a screen shot as well.

How come spies cant enter either Barbarian or Neanderthals cities??

EDIT: Also i "barely" made it to the Classical era, and then i get this notice about another civ made it to the Ren Era, W T F . . . . .
If you are at 1854AD you are Not in the Classical Era on Normal GS. You will need to go into BUG and reset the Era settings. The Era display is "off" for some reason. Not sure if it's a hiccup from the recent Tech tree fix. Uncheck you normal setting there in BUG and then recheck them.

Well I have made a fresh mod folder, and I have made a fresh copy of the UEM map to no avail. It looks like my awesome journey is over

If anyone has had an end of turn hang up and fixed it please let me know what you did.

You recently changed this value in gamespeed XML to be equal for all gamespeeds.
<iUnitHurryPercent>

You probably thought it had something to do with hurry production with gold.
That tag only modifies how many hammers the great engineer, captives and merchants can provide to a construction effort.

It's an understandable misunderstanding of what that tag does.

Ideally <iUnitHurryPercent>X< should be equal to:
<iTrainPercent>X<
▬ Logic: If a merchant takes X times more hammers to train they better also give X times more hammers when spent on rushing buildings.
OR
<iConstructPercent>X<
▬ Logic: If a building cost X times more hammers on this gamespeed I expect that the same amount of rushing units will be able to complete it as on any other gamespeeds.
OR
A compromise would be the avarege value between <iTrainPercent> and <iConstructPercent>.

Not understanding what u are saying, i have circled where i am and where a civ is in the pic??

I think it's because there's nothing they can do there but possibly cause a crash with some missions.

Perhaps you are behind? You'll have to world builder it and see if another civ actually did that or if there's some problem with prereqs on Renaissance Lifestyle. You'll get those notices now when civs hit those points because of the first to reach getting a free tech out of the deal.

I can run it that round on my end and give you back the save. That should clear it up for you I'd think. I'll have to do that later tho.

Dude, I'd appreciate that a lot. Don't know what it would be about this particular turn, and why it wouldn't happen again but i would love to give it a try.

Thanks a bunch

Thanks for clarification. Will revert changes.

T-brd can these free tech from reaching a Lifestyle Tech be allowing the recipient to use that free tech for another Lifestyle tech?

If SO is truly only in the Classical Era at 1854 AD then he is very Much behind in research. Wonder if he is using Upscaled Costs Option coupled with your New Option?

Shouldn't be possible since it can only be used on a tech you would qualify for based on techs you already have. Its the same as the free tech you've always gotten for being first to sedentary lifestyle.

And yeah that seems REALLY behind. A quick check on the prereqs for Ren Lifestyle is probably in order. I mean... it's possible that a civ is that far ahead though. Maybe. Not sure what diff he's on there.

i now play only on Normal speed . . .but being behind by 2-3 era's is alot . . and no upscaled costs used . . .

So I'm able to click on the update unit button even if I can't afford the update - AND once I've clicked the button, I go to positive 999999 gold... Anyone else seen this?

I know what's happening but not why. Please upload a save with instructions on duplicating.

Once you get this info, and if you can find a fix, I think I will post a New Updated Full Patch in a New Thread. As I'm not sure how long it will be before we are even ready to put out a v38 Release.

Hoping to publish v38 just before Christmas.
Sure thing - just load up the save and find any of the enforcers hanging around most of my cities and update them.
OK thanks!

Whisperr was planning to help with that.

Here you go. You might have to update to the latest SVN to make it work.
