Single Player bugs and crashes v38 plus (SVN) - After the 20th of February 2018

crap. this game took me 3 weeks to get here, darn . . .
I've already gotten the fix on the SVN for you. Get the update and you may continue. I meant not to continue it until I had the update in place.
 
I have a question, is the AI supposed to expand a little faster than this? It is it like he is not even there.

You are expanding extremely fast.

Do you use SVN?
Also Chieftain handicap is EXTREMELY easy.

That is anything below Noble is for testing purposes.
On those handicaps AI has increased construction/research costs and players has cheaper techs/buildings/units.

Try playing on Monarch/Emperor/Immortal handicaps.
Noble/Prince is for those who like to play causally.

Even you could play on Deity/Nightmare, don't beeline at all, build all buildings and then you still can win, you just have to abuse mechanics where AI is trash - mainly producing units, that can build stuff (buildings in cities - AI can't make unit just to place building) and crime related things.

I explained those tags when I implemented them. They're just triggers that go on crime buildings and even some sanctioned crime buildings that make it possible to have such units spawn as Barbarian criminals in the city. If you want to change them over to more tech appropriate crimes for these, that's fine.

Don't you have an Outlaw Criminal Unit which is the Criminal counter to Sherriff LE unit? That should come in at Gun Rampage.

So Okay, I'll look them over and see what needs to be done. Either the Tech preq changed Or where the unit should spawn into the game from which Individual Crime Building.

Like Raxxo says, if you want the Ai to act similar to you in most aspects of the game including expansion don't play the levels below Noble. By playing Chieftain level you Should be outracing the AI In all areas of the game. These levels are for Beginning players and Young (children) players to learn How the Mod plays.

I'm very confident irishhombre that you can play and excel on Noble or Prince level. :)

Thank you for that. It had been a while since I played with AI, I had been playing on Raxo's single player space map. I knew there had been changes to the AI so I took the safe route.
 
Crash to desktop just after ending the round.
Never had this before, latest SVN + Pippo, Giant Map size with Earth Generator.
Might be bug in national culture level up.

@Thunderbrd that thing is annoying to get it right :p

Tested Without Toffer's PPIO.
1st your game asked for a re-calc . I have the latest SVN. So either you don't have the latest SVN version Or you did not do a re-calc.
2nd I 1st did EoT w/o Re-Calc. Turn processed just fine. Then I reloaded and did the asked for Re-calc, Again turn processed just fine.

This 2nd try after re-calc is posted below. It is the Start of the Next turn.

It would seem your problem Is with PPIO.

does it look like the crashes from complex traits? i.e. mid game around ren era / complex traits on

Matt, he's in the late Preh Era, not Ren Era. And No it's not crashing from Complex traits. He is using PPIO and I can run his EoT With Out PPIO just fine.

I installed the SVN on it own folder and to the mods folder a copy of that,when i update SVN i look which files where updated and copy those file to my mod folder, last
time was today . so i thought i was the latest SVN.
So i will try now, with that save....

--Department of Water doesn't provide water pipes for all existing cities. Some of my older, larger cities were still able to build water pipes after.
--Upon researching Fire Brigades, all cities' forges stop working. Lost access to charcoal as a result of Imu etc going obsolete? Just a guess.

Only if it consistently cause a similar CTD.

But I would post in Toffer's Modmod thread for it to let him know you had a problem.

Cities have to be size 6 to get the water pipes.

There are 3 ways to get charcoal.

Is Fire Brigades after Crucible steel? Or before it? I can't recall off hand. And if so do you have Coal?
 
Something is not right.
I am using the latest SVN 10573, copied the whole folder to my mods folder,but when i use that save-file that you
provide me , the game want to recalc,so we use different versions ,or why would it recalc?

Just go ahead and do the Re-Calc. Always better to do it than not.

Also when was the last time you cleared the cache folder found in App data?

Do you have win 10 64 or win 7 64?

EDIT: C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\My Games\Beyond the Sword\cache this is for win 10. Just delete the contents of the cache folder

I think I remember TB say something about the AI not loading into boats right when using Size Matters. anyone know if that's right?

Fire Brigades is before Crucible Steel, and I haven't gotten to that yet. I don't have access to coal.
I just traded for charcoal with another civ and that brought the forges back online. I didn't build any bonfires early on because I was trying to avoid too much air pollution. Now I know--thanks.
