Skyrim - The Elder Scrolls V

I didn't because my mommy always told me never to talk to strangers.

(I don't remember talking to him in the game, most NPCs are pretty dull so I either ignore them entirely or leave once I see their only chat option is rumours since I don't want to hear about that bloody mudcrab again I probably walked right past him.).

I hate that guy.
I spent hours searching for a Colovian Fur Helm in the hopes it's some kind of unmarked quest and I'd get a reward.

Too bad you didn't memorize every base item in the game like me. :smug:

And now I made myself sad.

If you're playing Morrowind, you can find a Colovian fur helm on Tarhiel's corpse, that of the unfortunate wizard who plunges to his death just north of Seyda Neen.

He was always my first destination off of the boat, his sword was pretty good for a starting weapon and the scrolls he had were worth a fair amount of cash. :goodjob:

I liked to pretend that I didn't know about Tarhiel's imminent demise, so I used to do loads of stuff in Seyda Neen first and then would generally trigger his fall accidentally whilst doing something else first. :)

I always hung on to them because they were unique and awesome.

Colovian Fur Helms weren't in Oblivion. Bethesda lampshaded it, particularly because the game was set in Colovia.

The achievements for Skyrim, they are just the usual, generic ones for finishing a quest, joining a faction, slaying a harder creature (like a dragon), reach level this, do that, collect X of those, etc. EDIT: And don't forget an achievement for completing the tutorial!

Ugh. I hope the tutorial-section isn't implemented into the story like in Oblivion, as you had to do that over and over again when making different characters.

If you weren't using extensive character levelling mods, you could easily make a save-game just by the sewer gates in Oblivion and reload that each time you started a new game.

"Capture Solitude or Windhelm"? O_o Hope it's not gonna be Oblivion style pathetic final battles with about 4 on 4 guys fighting and lagging like hell.

"Escape from jail, get married, buy a house" - every man's life plan really...
From now on when someone who doesn't know anything about TES or RPG in general will ask me what is this game about, I'm gonna say "Well, you gotta escape from jail, buy a house and get married of course"...

"Collect 15 Daedra artifacts" :woohoo:

IRL it's other way around: get married, buy a house, escape from jail.

I like the looks of Skyrim's achievements already. They'll be more interesting than Oblivion's by far.

Oblivion had achievements? I probably missed out on that since I own the disc-version...

It did on the xbox360. They were all about finishing the different faction quests and main quest though. Pretty bland, IMO.

But they are definitely a step up from Oblivion's.

Maybe I'm not thinking outside the box, but I can't really come up with anything better than what they are using.
