Haven't I already explained to you VRWCAgent that a French-speaking States is simply a logical impossibility?
I mean, then they'd have to be brave (Because Americans are supposed to be unspeakably brave) AND french.
And everyone knows to be brave and french you had to leave France and go colonize Canada in the first place.

I am for 2+1 solution.
Two separate countries and Brussels as a "District of Europe" - a semi-independent city under EU supervision, something like West Berlin during the Cold War.
Europe shouldn't have a problem with Belgium breaking up. It was created as a buffer state, which is kinda useless in today's Europe, where Germany is France's best friend.
Like in the case of Czechoslovakia, they can divide peacefully, without major problems and remain close to each other in the future.

No, it's in depth science. If we can get a light enough one, we could airdrop it and activate it to cause enhanced erosion, possibly enough to sink them. It's crazy, but it's more enviromentally friendly than a Nuke. It does sound silly though.

Actually, I'm really getting sick of these Flemish guys who are the majority and control the economy and despite this, who still consider themselves as the victims of an evil Walloon minority. Flemish independentists are downright racist when they talk about the walloons. The world really has to know that.
But anyway, I simply don't believe the country will split up. The reason for this is rather simple: Brussels is a French speaking enclave in the Flanders. Flemish people want Brussels to be incorporated in the Flanders. However, people from Brussels will never accept this because as Flemish independentists want language unity, they would actually ban them from speaking in their mother language. As such, this will never happen.

I was referring to the fact that you seem to think it would end up in the Baltic Sea, which is actually nowhere near Belgium (relatively speaking).

Outside your joke, it's important to understand that this isn't about Flemish people and Walloons hating each others. This is about Flemish people wanting their independence. Walloons really asked for nothing in this story.
Belgium is the unique example I can think of where it's the dominating group which is asking for independence and the minority group which wants the union to remain.

I always believe that if a people want to be independent then they should be. Whether that decision to become independent is intelligent is another matter.
