StarNES: Updates Without Number (Epoch I)

Nah, I figured he was doing as much when he asked me for map resources and whatnot. Our aims are pretty different and I find imitation to be the highest form of flattery! Besides, we're not in competition here.

However, I will ask him to at least credit me.

I find it tacky that he didn't explicitly ask you and that he didn't initially credit you, but I will concede that running this exercise in the IOT forum isn't redundant. Many of those who visit IOT don't visit NES and Vice Versa, resulting in a different group of players.

I'm in both, actually.

I can hardly join Tambiens and leave out on this one, can I ;)

The Creatorus

A strange sound could be heard in the system. It could be described as roaring or fiery. All of a sudden a small light appeared in the otherwise pitch black system. It could not be said where exactly the light came from, never before had there been light in the system. The light continued to grow and for every metre, every kilometre, it grew its light engulfed more of the system.

Three planets existed in the system; Orwania, Maxus and Georgum. Never had any seen these planets but they were there nonetheless. Nothing was known about these planets but they were there. Nothing was living there but still, they were there.

When the light grew it also brought light to the planets. The first planets to be visible were Orwania and Georgum. From their silhouettes it became apparent that they were small planets. But the light was to dim to make out anything else. The planet Maxus was still in the dark but the light was still growing and soon it would be engulfed in the light.

If you aren't going to update until Tuesday, can I
Change my orders?

And an 80 page paper? That's brutal!

Well ideally I'd update today, but I'm waiting on spaceman & hbar, so feel free to change your orders!

And yep. Pretty brutal. 10 pages a day.

If these are in time, changed orders:

Have 46GC¤ at the beginning of this update.

In hex 0523, around Surnamir:
Place Small Terrestrial Planet for 5GC¤.
Place Small Gas Giant Planet for 5GC¤.
Place Moon for 2GC¤.
Place Moon for 2GC¤.
Place Moon for 2GC¤.

Have 30GC¤ left over at the end of this update.

Cool! Now I'm torn over if I should wait for hbar/spaceman or just update and give them the next turn's points (so they'd have a lot of points).

Yeah, that sounds reasonable. Update impending! In the future go with the policy of deadline or majority of players have orders in; 'skipped' players will still get their points and 1 space kudos. 2 kudos gives you a free comet.

EDIT: And so as to prevent abuse of my generosity you cannot get 2 kudos in a row.

I was thinking you more going axe crazy and smashing their planets with the Blue Comet from the Sky for being late.

Their orders aren't late! The deadline is not till tomorrow, but I feel that it makes no sense to wait on a handful of players when everyone else has put in their orders.
