Apolyton OT doesn't want to be the same site as you, either, for similar reasons. The panic in CFC is a critical example of why Apolytoners don't want to join.
And why not? This is April Fools day. Out of all the days they could have picked in the week, they picked this day. As I said before, if this isn't a joke - stop panicking and wait until later tommarow.
Doesn't matter - this is as much of an Apolyton prank as it is CFC - if not moreso Apolyton, given the people who were involved. What it did do was excellent - it gave an actual empirical explanation for why people like CFC more than Apolyton by the outrage that had resulted. Apparently people really really really hate the colors in Apolyton.
Knowing people well enough doesn't really mean much here. It's quite possible that they are in it too - most likely, more than anything, including the moderators who quit. So don't get your hopes up for a confirmation through them.
Eh, Apolyton had Story Threads, a concept that predates NESes, but could probably be considered a precursor to it. I remember I was banned from them because I sucked so much at it (probably why I'm afraid to join NESes now).
