Content providers have been playing not-nicely with Netflix ever since they mostly decided they all want to run parallel streaming services to cash in as well. Netlix is a pretty small player in the entertainment industry relative to the other big organizations, they can't swing the cost to get a lot of stuff now if the content providers don't really want to let Netflix have it.

I would probably guess they're screwing with Netflix. But that isn't necessarily the case.

It could be because of a contractual clause/dispute with a particular actor or director in that episode.

Netflix has really been losing shows and movies like crazy lately. They even lost the Universe History Channel show.

I know it's not their fault but damn it's getting frustrating.
