This is one Ive been mulling over for awhile. Without any context at all, if asked, 'What are you?" whats the first answer that pops into your mind?

1. Nationality

2. Religion

3. Profession

4. Sexual orientation

5. Gender

6. Race/ethnicity

7. Financial status

8. Species

Added:

9. Political persuasion

10. Culture

My first answer was actually "huh? what?", then it was 8. Species

The first thing that came to my mind was my name.

But for me, that question is almost always asked in relation to my race/ethnicity, so I'll vote for that.

Non of the above or all of the above.

But if I really have to chose I chose you Picachu!!

Proferssion. Id says more about me then the rest do.

I am human, and second to that I really have no idea.

Ethnic Italian. Gotta love it.

You know what I thought of after heaving read the question?

Sadly I define myself by nationality, but not much choice was offered in the list.

1. Gender
That's the most "stable situation". I may change nationality oneday, but Gender :woohoo:

2. Nationality
I would no consider it first in everyday life, with on an international forum probably.

3. Profession
Important as it can define my skills, what I can do or not, and what subject I can be condifent with. But in that case,

hobby/leisure are missing, and are an important part of the definition of a Steph.

Religion
As an agnostic, religion doesn't matter much to me, and I would certainly not define myself from that.

Sexual orientation
Not important to define myself, as I consider it to be "normal"

Race/ethnicity
Not very important, less than nationality

Financial status
Does it really matter to define who you are?

Species:
So obvious it would come last I think

Some options which are missing:
Familly status. I think being married with kids is quite different from being single

Your age.

etc.

Child of God.

Bozo Erectus,

you, sir, have forgotton about CULTURE. My culture defines me as it probably does millions of people around the globe :yup:
