Different than the other threads, which were more about what SHOULD happen, this one remains in reality.

Who IS going to win it, in your opinion?

Personally, I think Romney will win, I'm not too thrilled about it, but reality does that sometimes;)

Mitt Romney. His competitors are two crazy people, the world's most boring unaccepted man, a pizza man, 2 fictional races with Palin and Ryan, and the crazy half-Libertarian loon from Texas (and I'm not talking about Rick Perry - he was the first clause).

Rick Perry. :goodjob:

I thought he said President? What does it mean when the VP does not agree with the P?

My gut says Perry P and Bachman VP. I am wondering if two females on the ticket would work out?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. Clarification please?

I don't really see Bachmann as VP. She just doesn't seem like that kind of material. And for the two females, if your question leads up to what I think it does, no, it would go down in a ball of flames.

Romney's going to win, but Bachmann should win.

It would lead to a hilarious election.

It seems that as D3000's VP, you should vote with him? Unless you were going for the VP slot.

You do not think Palin would VP for Bachmann?

I see Bachmann as a VP with chances of P. I do not think the US is ready for a female P yet. I think that if a female VP who "stopped" making gaffs(seems to be the role of the VP, no offence), may just be a better preparation than outright doing it. If one thinks that the color of skin and not the charisma of current office is what hindered Clinton, then every one is racist. Is it not racist to vote for/not vote for due to skin color? Seems to me it should be based on ability to lead, but I digress.

Romney is in it to the bitter end, but the Tea Party is going to be the dominant force in the GOP primary, which means in the end he won't be able to secure the nomination.

Bachmann risks torpedoing her campaign every time she opens her mouth. She's the Republican analogue of Howard Dean in 2004. She'll win Iowa easily if she's still in the race at that time, but I don't think much of her chances in the long haul.

Ron Paul can't even get his own party to take his candidacy seriously.

Santorum, Huntsman, who?

That, unfortunately, leaves Bush III - I mean Perry.

I'll say it again: Palin/Bachmann 2012 should be the title of a porn flick, not a presidential campaign.

What? I'm still not sure what you're saying here. Domination thinks that Romney will win the Republican Primary, even though he wants Paul to win. I think Perry will win the Primary, and I support Perry.

You do not think Palin would VP for Bachmann?
Palin might try it, but nobody would support it. Palin's balloon deflated 2 years ago and is now the punchline of jokes. Bachmann's balloon is made up of patch work, and is already the punchline of jokes. Very few people would take them seriously.

No offense taken, but that's mostly because I didn't see any offensive material. Anyway, like I said, very few people take Bachmann seriously, and without duck tape, she most certainly won't be able to stop making gaffs

It depends on whether Bachmann drops out early enough. If she does, Perry will take those votes. If she doesn't, Romney will keep his abysmal majority.

To be honest, Ron Paul is the best candidate, and he should win. However, the media bias won't help his chances, as well as his taxation platform. I'd vote for him because although the radical tax policies he suggests won't make progress whatsoever, and his foreign policy seems the most logical.

I really wish Ron Paul would just drop his idea of tax reform. That would really strengthen his platform among independents, at least compared to other Republican nominees.
